Nice place to visit and shop while waiting to depart. Wouldn’t go out of my way to visit but if you need to spend the time somewhere….

I can’t recommend AAAfrica highly enough! Augustine is the consummate naturalist, with an amazing breadth of knowledge of Tanzania’s wildlife, ecosystems, geology and culture. His driver/guide/naturalists are also very knowledgable, friendly, courteous and they are very responsible, skillful drivers (don’t discount that last point).
AAAfrica will take care of all of the of the details of your trip, and do an excellent job of it. All of the lodges we were booked into were excellent, with great amenities and excellent food. Our safari trip was absolutely terrific due in no small part to the efforts is Augustine and the rest of the staff at AAAfrica.

Nearly all of the reviews left here are of Ngorogoro Crater. Ngurudoto Crater in Arusha National Oark is beautiful, but you cannot enter it, nor are there any lions or rhino in Arusha National Park. 🤨

Peter is an excellent guide and driver but not only! His knowledge of animals allowed us to mirix understand their habits and better appreciate the chance to meet them. Besides, Peter’s human qualities are many: caring, friendly, honest, funny and very helpful. we loved to b. guided by him and recommend eyes closed!

    Thanks to Galopping tour Safari.
We did 2 days of Safari in Tarangirie and Ngorongoro Park.
Thanks to our guide Mr DISMASS who was super nice, very patient, smiling and he explained lots of things to us throughout our safari.
I strongly recommend choosing Galopping tour which was professional and our experience was beyond our expectations.

    Greetings

did a school trip and they host visitors so well. Jane, Joel, Maria and all at the visitors team will work with you to customize your itinerary based on your interests and time there. If you are in Arusha and interested in education, charity, or just looking for something to do this is worth your time.

In February, we lived out a long-held dream thanks to Sandra and Michael, who made all our wishes, priorities, and goals come true. The tour was perfectly organized, with a good selection of lodges. Our friendly and dedicated guide, Prince, tirelessly helped us spot all kinds of animals in various parks. An indescribable experience that will resonate with us for a long time. After a 14-day safari, a few days in Zanzibar provided a fitting end to our journey. Unforgettable, and we would choose Tanzania Safari Bug again in a heartbeat.

Juma organised a truly great trip for our family ! he easily adapted to our requirements and last minute changes.
We stayed 11 days in the north part of Tanzania and went to different parks. Juma also recommended to visit a bushmen village as well as arts and crafts which we loved.
Samuel and Hamisi, our guides were very professional and always helpful. Their kindness will always be linked to Tanzania. They were both very good at showing animals, giving many explanations and context.
You can join Juma very easily : sumbij3@gmail.com or on whatsapp +255784751244
He will answer very fast and help make your dream come true !

I went on this safari as a 22 year old solo female traveller and felt incredibly safe. From the moment I stepped into the vehicle I had a fabulous time. You have tocrmemeber if you book a group tour the people in your group do not define your safari but I got super lucky as the people were amazing. Bakari the driver was incredible and really knew how to drive whilst also knowing about the animals. We got to see so many amazing animals which was great. I ended up having to share a twntveith another lady in my group which I didn't realise but it didn't bother me as she was lovely but keep it in mind. I couldnt recommend this safari more! Trip of a life time! If you camp you have to remember you are camping in Serengeti with the wild animals! The chef was incredible best food I have had and the guy who briefed me (Derek) was really sweet too

Wildersun Safaris made this one of our best vacations ever! Our guide Roderick had an easy-going manner, a good sense of humor, and a deep knowledge of animals and nature. Not only did we see all the animals we hoped to see and then some, but he was often able to predict when animals would move and where they would go and position us ahead of time to get great views. He once pointed out a wildebeest sitting in the grass and told us it was getting ready to give birth. Sure enough, we got to witness the birth and the calf’s first wobbly steps – truly an amazing moment! Roderick had a good eye for photography, pointing out several good shots and ensuring we were well positioned with good lighting. I also have to commend his driving skills. January had more rain than expected and I was amazed that we made it through all the mud and puddles without getting stuck!
From a logistics perspective, Wildersun put together an excellent itinerary for us, with 8 days of safari in Tarangire, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti, followed by a few days on Zanzibar. They kept us well informed during the booking process and found outstanding accommodations for each stop. When two of our group missed flight connections and a third had delayed baggage, they helped us work through the issues and what could have been major headaches became minor inconveniences. I really felt that they took good care of us so we were able to relax and enjoy our travels.
Thank you Wildersun for an unforgettable vacation!

I went to Kenya with 7 other women, 2 of whom I knew. This experience was enlightening and bonding as I now have 7 new sisters. SkySafari could not have done a better job. Each camp we went to had its own magic and perspective on both the land and the animals we encountered. My friend Susan said that you”come for the animals but fall in love with the people” and that is certainly true. Each camp was run by exceptional people who have the gift of hospitality and the ability to gather exceptional staff. Graeme, Candy at Tortilis in Amboseli. , Grace at Elsa’s Kopje in Meru and John (Asst. Manager) at Little Sand River in the Masai Mara all added so much. Our daily lives were assisted by all their excellent staff-each and every camp was welcoming, warm and helpful. Our driver/guides were truly wonderful not only finding the animals but helping us know more about each area and the life of the animals. We had many up close and personal observations of elephants, lions, hippos…the list goes on and on. Simon, Jackson, Moses, Mohammed, Kip and Daniel made every drive not only safe but full of excitement and wonder. Their kindness, warmth and love of their country sets them apart.

Not forgetting the wonderful food both in camp and in the bush when we ate our breakfasts in beautiful locations after our early morning drives. Each camp had chefs that put their art on a plate.

Our contact with SkySafari was through the wonderful Emily who seems to make everything happen behind the scenes as though it all is effortless, which one knows it is not. The sky part is having our own plane to pick up us and drop us at the next location without having to deal with wrangling other people outside our group or fit another schedule not suited to us. It all felt seamless.

I fell in love with Kenya and its people and can only say that I long to return. It was the trip of a lifetime with women I came to adore, by a company that made every moment so easy to relax into and simply be there fully so that every day was about Africa and not schedules or planning on our part.

When I can go again it will only be with SkySafari because once you know someone is top in their field why bother going elsewhere?

Wow, wow, wow! I've been through most bigger game reserves in Africa several times but this trip was the crown jewel! Not only because Serengeti in itself was mindblowing, but also because of Freddy who is a gem of a guide and who made our experience an unforgettable one! He's obviously very knowledgeable about the game, birds and plants. But this guy will also get you through any swampy area savely to find the best sightings (important during rainy season) ! He even pulled another safari truck out of the mud, who got stuck in a lesser traveled part of the park. Because of that we only arrived after night fall, but we could really lean back and enjoy the adventure, as we obviously had the most experienced driver that day.
Communication via WhatsApp before, during and after the safari was easy going and professional. Freddy organised EVERYTHING and made it a breeze. Don't miss out on this unique experience and book with Freddy! You'll have an amazing, unforgettable time... Promise!

We just returned back home after a fantastic family adventure to Tanzania. During our stay we went on a six-days safari and we had the great pleasure of having Abi (Ibrahim) as our safari-guide!
He greeted us every morning with a big smile, positive attitude, ready for a new day! Abi has over 20 years experience as a safari-guide and his love for his country, culture and wildlife is exceptional. Our kids claim they learned more from Abi in six days than they learn at school for a whole year :)
We can highly recommend Abi and we would love to go back to Tanzania for a new visit!

I don’t even know where to start!
Every single part of our contact with Sunset has been amazing.
Nothing was too much trouble for Emma and Anna (despite my many questions!) and our safari was perfectly designed to meet our needs. We had told the team it was our honeymoon and we got such lovely treatment (and room decor!) at each lodge/camp because of this.
Our tour guide Rama was WONDERFUL. He was so much fun to be around, kind, caring and SO knowledgeable. He was able to spot things from miles away and I swear he has super powers! He made my dreams come true finding not 1 but 2 leopards in the Serengeti! He really is an asset to Sunset. Asante sana Rama!

Each day was as memorable as the last and each location so different.

We can’t wait to book our next adventure with the sunset team. And wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to all our friends & family.

    Asante sana
    This is baadaye not kwaheri!!
