Augustine is a proper pro guide. His tours run like a Swiss train: always on time.
But he's far more friendly than a Swiss train conductor!
His happy, positive attitude is contagious.
I spent a week with him and was so impressed.
Most of his clients come from America, but he's open to people from everywhere.

Nearly all of the reviews left here are of Ngorogoro Crater. Ngurudoto Crater in Arusha National Oark is beautiful, but you cannot enter it, nor are there any lions or rhino in Arusha National Park. 🤨

Peter is an excellent guide and driver but not only! His knowledge of animals allowed us to mirix understand their habits and better appreciate the chance to meet them. Besides, Peter’s human qualities are many: caring, friendly, honest, funny and very helpful. we loved to b. guided by him and recommend eyes closed!

Last April we visited the northern parks of Tanzania: Serengeti, Tarangire and the Ngorongoro crater. Our safari experience was elevated to extraordinary levels by the impeccable planning and execution by Galloping Safaris. From the seamless logistics to the top-notch accommodations, every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a memorable adventure.

A special commendation goes to our guide, Anderson. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic, bringing the safari to life with fascinating insights into the wildlife and ecosystems. Anderson had an uncanny ability to spot animals from great distances and ensured we had the best vantage points for viewing and photographing wildlife. His passion and respect for the environment and commitment to conservation were truly inspiring.

"We did our Safari in February 2024, visiting all the major national parks in Northern Tanzania: the Tarangire, lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti.
I will not go in day by day details, also because every travel or safari experience is unique! But what we alived was truly amazing.

Amazing, not only because we saw animals of all kinds: all the big five (Rhinos, Elephants, Buffaloes, a Leopard and many Lions), Hyenas, thousands and thousands of Zebras and Wildbeasts, Crocodiles, Cheetahs, Thompson gazelles, many species of birds. But, also, because we had the privilege of experiencing unique situations such as: lions hunting, lions meeting, we spent a day with Hadzabe tribes and Maasai, even the experience of having a lion passing close to our tent overnight!
I'm an amateur potographer, I have been to many countries in Africa doing safari (Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa, Madagascar....), but this was really a lifetime experience.

And now let me thank who made all this possible. Thanks to Stephen and Jasper from Swala Safaris for their patience in fullfilling all my wishes, taking care of any single detail (from car's equipments to room types in lodge/accommodations) without surprises......from paper to reality! And, thanks to ChaCha our super, amazing tour guide/driver, full of skills, knowledge and full of a contagious enthusiasm......simply number 1! TOP !
    Thanks! Alex, Enzo and Paolo."

I went on this safari as a 22 year old solo female traveller and felt incredibly safe. From the moment I stepped into the vehicle I had a fabulous time. You have tocrmemeber if you book a group tour the people in your group do not define your safari but I got super lucky as the people were amazing. Bakari the driver was incredible and really knew how to drive whilst also knowing about the animals. We got to see so many amazing animals which was great. I ended up having to share a twntveith another lady in my group which I didn't realise but it didn't bother me as she was lovely but keep it in mind. I couldnt recommend this safari more! Trip of a life time! If you camp you have to remember you are camping in Serengeti with the wild animals! The chef was incredible best food I have had and the guy who briefed me (Derek) was really sweet too

We traveled to Tanzania for safari with SkySafari in April of 2023 (I am clearly writing this very late, but I still have my notes!) We visited during rainy season, honestly I don't think I would choose to go at another time - everything was lush and green, no road dust and the bugs were very manageable. (We did spray our clothing with permethrin as recommended) It did rain at night, but while on game drives we only had one afternoon of rain.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience! Hellen in Arusha was excellent helping with our booking, answering questions, and assisting when we had a diverted flight. Responses were always prompt and all of our questions were answered.

On our tour we stayed at Tarangire Treetops, The Manor and the Serengeti Pioneer Camp. All of the properties were a bit different, but all very beautiful, comfortable and extremely clean. The staff at each property went above and beyond every day taking care of our every need. Food was delicious as well!!

Our diverted flight resulted in a late arrival for the start of the safari. Arnold was our driver from Arusha to meet up with the safari - he was an excellent driver and answered all our "local knowledge" questions. He drove us to meet Pascal, our safari guide at Tarangire - He is AMAZING!! We thoroughly enjoyed the next 2 days with him as our guide - I had lots of questions and his knowledge clearly exceeded my questions :) Clay, the manager at Treetops greeted us with such caring and kindness as we were a little distressed by our late arrival. He definitely helped us relax and got us up to date on the trip. Julius was our server each day and he was excellent as well.

The flights between the national parks went very smooth, great pilots, and nice planes. The safari vehicles were also very nice, clean and well cared for.

The Manor at Ngorongoro is a lovely property as well. Ghandi was our safari driver for the Ngorongoro Crater National Park. Again, an excellent, extremely knowledgeable guide, excellent personality and witty humor. He spotted black rhinos for us, so we did see the big 5. :)

Serengeti National park was our last stop. Wilson and Angela were our safari drivers - full of knowledge and lots of fun! We did have our only vehicle breakdown of the trip with them - It was handled safely and professionally. The sleeping accommodations were glamping tents - running water and all - very impressive! Another highlight of the trip was a sunrise breakfast. Hassan, our daily server, heard us talking about getting up to see a Serengeti sunrise.... we did and he had set up the most beautiful breakfast table for us, out on a boulder patio with a perfect view of the sunrise - definitely one of the most memorable moments on the trip. I asked a lot of questions while trying to learn some Swahili - Hassan was kind enough to write me a sheet of common words and phrases which I will have memorized when we return! It was the sweetest gift :)

Wow, wow, wow! I've been through most bigger game reserves in Africa several times but this trip was the crown jewel! Not only because Serengeti in itself was mindblowing, but also because of Freddy who is a gem of a guide and who made our experience an unforgettable one! He's obviously very knowledgeable about the game, birds and plants. But this guy will also get you through any swampy area savely to find the best sightings (important during rainy season) ! He even pulled another safari truck out of the mud, who got stuck in a lesser traveled part of the park. Because of that we only arrived after night fall, but we could really lean back and enjoy the adventure, as we obviously had the most experienced driver that day.
Communication via WhatsApp before, during and after the safari was easy going and professional. Freddy organised EVERYTHING and made it a breeze. Don't miss out on this unique experience and book with Freddy! You'll have an amazing, unforgettable time... Promise!

I don’t even know where to start!
Every single part of our contact with Sunset has been amazing.
Nothing was too much trouble for Emma and Anna (despite my many questions!) and our safari was perfectly designed to meet our needs. We had told the team it was our honeymoon and we got such lovely treatment (and room decor!) at each lodge/camp because of this.
Our tour guide Rama was WONDERFUL. He was so much fun to be around, kind, caring and SO knowledgeable. He was able to spot things from miles away and I swear he has super powers! He made my dreams come true finding not 1 but 2 leopards in the Serengeti! He really is an asset to Sunset. Asante sana Rama!

Each day was as memorable as the last and each location so different.

We can’t wait to book our next adventure with the sunset team. And wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to all our friends & family.

    Asante sana

Everything was planned perfectly and the itinerary couldn’t have been any better. Goodie made our first Safari unforgettable. The lodges, the food, the landscapes, the cultural assets of the country and of course the animals were shown and presented to us perfectly by Goodie. His knowledge about his own country is exceptional and his curiosity about other cultures is second to none!
Along the way we had great coversations, tons of fun and many other unforgettable moments!
The trip exceeded our expectations and there were no wishes unfulfilled.

We will come back for sure!
    Asante sana Goodie!

I can't say enough good things about Bryson and Petit Maasai. Bryson handled our last-minute trip to Tanzania like he'd been working on it for months instead of a handful of days after we connected about a week before our family arrived. Two nights to Tarangire - fantastic - and we're experienced in the region, former residents of Tanzania and several other African countries, now back in the States. I'd tried for this trip to get in touch with the tour operator in Arusha I'd travelled with before in past years to Ngorogoro and Serengeti, but to no avail, couldn't get in touch with them. Now that we've worked with Bryson, we'll do so every time we go back. Top notch vehicle and driver, great service, laid back and easy to work with. As well, Bryson arranged ground transport for us from Dar to Selous and back - also fantastic - as well as, literally on the spur of the moment after our Mwanza to Dar flight was diverted to Kilimanjaro for an engine failure, a quick ground transport from Kili to Dar. I could go on. My kids plan to climb Kili with Petit Maasai in the near future. Can't wait to get back. Great company. Five stars.

Easytravel have made our safari experience one to remember!

Booking the safari was super smooth with Voice who communicated quickly and clearly via WhatsApp. She created the perfect itinerary to suit us and sent us lots of information in advance to help us prepare

When we arrived, we had a lovely welcome from our driver Salvatory and Voice and Rukia also briefed us before as well as giving us a lovely cake to celebrate our honeymoon.

The safari was incredible, we spent 4 days driving around Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro national parks. Salvatory was a brilliant guide as he shared lots of information on the animals and was able to answer the many questions we had. He maximised our safari time and was always able to track down the animals so we saw all the animals we had hoped for!

The accomodation we stayed in was magical with the most beautiful rooms and views. We only wished we could stay longer!

Thanks so much for such a wonderful experience!!

It was the best safari experience for 2 nights and 3 days. Choosing the tour with suricata was the best choice. The office staff was friendly and quick to give feedback and listened to even the most difficult requests. The guide also tried his best to show us as many animals as possible. Thanks to the guide, we saw all the Big 5. And the food they cooked for us during 2 nights and 3 days was the best. I would like to sincerely thank all the staff at suricata for giving us an unforgettable Tanzania safari tour. I highly recommend this company.
