I loved this tour during my stay in Tanzania! The educational videos were informative. Our guide Beverly was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave a wonderful tour of the history and production Tanzanite. The jewelry and gems on display were beautiful!
    Highly recommend this tour!

I can’t recommend AAAfrica highly enough! Augustine is the consummate naturalist, with an amazing breadth of knowledge of Tanzania’s wildlife, ecosystems, geology and culture. His driver/guide/naturalists are also very knowledgable, friendly, courteous and they are very responsible, skillful drivers (don’t discount that last point).
AAAfrica will take care of all of the of the details of your trip, and do an excellent job of it. All of the lodges we were booked into were excellent, with great amenities and excellent food. Our safari trip was absolutely terrific due in no small part to the efforts is Augustine and the rest of the staff at AAAfrica.

Nearly all of the reviews left here are of Ngorogoro Crater. Ngurudoto Crater in Arusha National Oark is beautiful, but you cannot enter it, nor are there any lions or rhino in Arusha National Park. 🤨

We found Daudi’s contacts from other reviews on TripAdvisor and he was a great guide.

We were a group of five people who visited the beautiful land of the Masai and climbed the Ol Donyio Lengai and visited Lake Natron.

The hike was beautiful and very special. It’s important to underline that this is a very strenuous hike. You will climb 1700 meters of altitude on very steep slopes (around 45 degrees close to the top) and you will have to descent through same way down so if you are afraid of heights and steep drop offs reconsider if this is for you. The path is also quite technical with uneven and slippery parts. We did the hike as a one day hike beginning and ascending during the night reaching summit for sunrise. The trek took 13 hours in total, six hours ascending, one hour on top and six hours descending.
All together it’s a technically difficult and physically demanding trek.

Having said that it was absolutely gorgeous. The landscape and views were incredible and the volcanic top has an otherworldly feel to it. Just amazing.

Lake Natron was amazing as well with incredible views and the possibility of seeing different wildlife and game. We saw giraffes, Wildebeest, Zebra, Flamingo and much more. It’s like a mini Safari.

If you decide to go, we can definitely recommend Daudi and his team of drivers and chef. They were all great and he especially was very knowledgeable about the area, the Masai culture, the animals and especially the mountain and trek.

He was very helpful and experienced in guiding us through the hike. Also he was very transparent about costs. Daudi is not just a tour operator. The Masai land is his home and going with him gives a unique insight into the Masai culture. You’re emerged into authentic Masai culture!

all in all we were so happy to the this trip with him and his team!

Peter is an excellent guide and driver but not only! His knowledge of animals allowed us to mirix understand their habits and better appreciate the chance to meet them. Besides, Peter’s human qualities are many: caring, friendly, honest, funny and very helpful. we loved to b. guided by him and recommend eyes closed!

did a school trip and they host visitors so well. Jane, Joel, Maria and all at the visitors team will work with you to customize your itinerary based on your interests and time there. If you are in Arusha and interested in education, charity, or just looking for something to do this is worth your time.

Juma organised a truly great trip for our family ! he easily adapted to our requirements and last minute changes.
We stayed 11 days in the north part of Tanzania and went to different parks. Juma also recommended to visit a bushmen village as well as arts and crafts which we loved.
Samuel and Hamisi, our guides were very professional and always helpful. Their kindness will always be linked to Tanzania. They were both very good at showing animals, giving many explanations and context.
You can join Juma very easily : sumbij3@gmail.com or on whatsapp +255784751244
He will answer very fast and help make your dream come true !

    Thanks to Galopping tour Safari.
We did 2 days of Safari in Tarangirie and Ngorongoro Park.
Thanks to our guide Mr DISMASS who was super nice, very patient, smiling and he explained lots of things to us throughout our safari.
I strongly recommend choosing Galopping tour which was professional and our experience was beyond our expectations.

    Greetings

Guide talked you through the various snakes, where they're found, eating habits and how dangerous they are to humans. Our guide was really engaging and the info was interesting, walk around lasted about 45mins. Crocodiles and tortoises to see too. Afterwards we spent 10mins doing guided tour of the Maasai cultural museum which was the right amount of time and info, again friendly guide. $40 for 2 of us probably a bit overpriced for 1 hour entertainment but the snake park does provide free healthcare to anyone in Tanzania with a snake bite so you feel your money is going towards something worthwhile.

Wow, wow, wow! I've been through most bigger game reserves in Africa several times but this trip was the crown jewel! Not only because Serengeti in itself was mindblowing, but also because of Freddy who is a gem of a guide and who made our experience an unforgettable one! He's obviously very knowledgeable about the game, birds and plants. But this guy will also get you through any swampy area savely to find the best sightings (important during rainy season) ! He even pulled another safari truck out of the mud, who got stuck in a lesser traveled part of the park. Because of that we only arrived after night fall, but we could really lean back and enjoy the adventure, as we obviously had the most experienced driver that day.
Communication via WhatsApp before, during and after the safari was easy going and professional. Freddy organised EVERYTHING and made it a breeze. Don't miss out on this unique experience and book with Freddy! You'll have an amazing, unforgettable time... Promise!

Really not worth the entrance fee of 12,000 shillings. Old and run down with little reinvestment. The saving grace is an enormous turtle that roves around the place.

Hiked all the way from Arusha to the the waterfall, from de entrance it's a beautiful jungle walk to the waterfalls. You probably can find the waterfalls by yourself but I decided to take a guide because I want to support the community. Remember 10,000 shillings for us is nothing but for them it means a lot so they can support their family and send there kids to school. Agree about the price before you go . Entrance fee to the park s25,000 shilling , don't forget to take your sandals with you because you have to cross the river a couple of times.

An all combined necessity for travel, entertainment, social events, food & bevarages and Shopping. There different restruants like pizza Spanish, cafés, salsa, mini bar. Also Clothing's and electrical supplies. Children playgrounds and supermarket. Plus the best cinéma in Arusha with two theatre's and a good parking lot.

From our camp close to Natron lake, we hiked to Ngare Sero waterfall with an excellent Masai guide, who spoke English fluently.
This is a sportive trail (5 km return trail, by the same path); our guide recommended us to have shoes that we could wear in the water. In fact, we hiked along the river on a steep and stony path and several times we had to walk in the river bed (sometimes with water up to our knees).
On arrival, we saw the beautiful Ngare Sero waterfall, flowing into a natural swimming pool of crystalline and transparent color, in which we swam down with great pleasure !!!
Our guide climbed the walls of the canyon to show us and pluck a branch of a quinine tree (Cinchona pubescens) and of other trees, in order to explain its medicinal properties to us.

    An interesting hike!!!
