Nearly all of the reviews left here are of Ngorogoro Crater. Ngurudoto Crater in Arusha National Oark is beautiful, but you cannot enter it, nor are there any lions or rhino in Arusha National Park. 🤨

Abraham, I can't thank you enough for being such an incredible person. Meeting you and becoming friends has been a true blessing. I'm beyond grateful for the unforgettable time we shared and for your warm hospitality throughout. Though our time was short, it left a lasting impression on me. Looking forward to joining you on the Ol Doinyo trip someday. For anyone considering a trip to Tanzania, reaching out to Abraham is a must. As a local Masai born and raised inside the park, his knowledge of the area is unparalleled. Just let him know your budget, and he'll take care of the rest. And those reviews? Absolutely on point. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

Guide talked you through the various snakes, where they're found, eating habits and how dangerous they are to humans. Our guide was really engaging and the info was interesting, walk around lasted about 45mins. Crocodiles and tortoises to see too. Afterwards we spent 10mins doing guided tour of the Maasai cultural museum which was the right amount of time and info, again friendly guide. $40 for 2 of us probably a bit overpriced for 1 hour entertainment but the snake park does provide free healthcare to anyone in Tanzania with a snake bite so you feel your money is going towards something worthwhile.

Hiked all the way from Arusha to the the waterfall, from de entrance it's a beautiful jungle walk to the waterfalls. You probably can find the waterfalls by yourself but I decided to take a guide because I want to support the community. Remember 10,000 shillings for us is nothing but for them it means a lot so they can support their family and send there kids to school. Agree about the price before you go . Entrance fee to the park s25,000 shilling , don't forget to take your sandals with you because you have to cross the river a couple of times.

We had the best safari & mount Meru experience thanks to Juvenile Safaris & John as our beloved guide.
We did the 6 day safari trip and would recommend it to anyone. Every day is astonishing with beautifull views and animals. The safari Jeep is very comfortable with cool water in the fridge and an open roof.
John knew a lot about the animals and knew his way. He always gave us the best views (thanks again, John. Amazing!!) and we could take our time. Thanks to John we have seen all the animals of the area - several times. John is a good spotter for sure.
Included meals were always very nice as well as our stays. We especially loved the tented camps in Serengeti; a magical place to sleep.

Before our safari trip, we did the 3 day mount Meru trek. This hike was challenging but more than worth the while.

    Highly recommend.
We will come back to Tanzania one day - with juvenile safaris & John as our guide.

Thank you very very much for everything!
    All the best,
    Bram & Indy

From our camp close to Natron lake, we hiked to Ngare Sero waterfall with an excellent Masai guide, who spoke English fluently.
This is a sportive trail (5 km return trail, by the same path); our guide recommended us to have shoes that we could wear in the water. In fact, we hiked along the river on a steep and stony path and several times we had to walk in the river bed (sometimes with water up to our knees).
On arrival, we saw the beautiful Ngare Sero waterfall, flowing into a natural swimming pool of crystalline and transparent color, in which we swam down with great pleasure !!!
Our guide climbed the walls of the canyon to show us and pluck a branch of a quinine tree (Cinchona pubescens) and of other trees, in order to explain its medicinal properties to us.

    An interesting hike!!!

A wonderful back to nature farming and cattle breeding are the beautiful surroundings for the 3 giraffes that Nat and Nick are caring for.
Both so deeply connected with nature…you could listen to Nick’s explanations for hours because of the deep enthusiasm and empathy he brings out.
Delicious tea, coffee and cakes offered by Nat who then walked us through the farm to the giraffes sight…so close up and at the same time so naturally blended with the surrounding nature. Thank you ever so much!

Everything was planned perfectly and the itinerary couldn’t have been any better. Goodie made our first Safari unforgettable. The lodges, the food, the landscapes, the cultural assets of the country and of course the animals were shown and presented to us perfectly by Goodie. His knowledge about his own country is exceptional and his curiosity about other cultures is second to none!
Along the way we had great coversations, tons of fun and many other unforgettable moments!
The trip exceeded our expectations and there were no wishes unfulfilled.

We will come back for sure!
    Asante sana Goodie!

My husband and I car camped here for 3 days. We loved the service, the team and owner were really nice and helpful. The environment is green and lush and beautiful. The food was great and I believe grown by themselves. The waterfalls were breathtaking, a must see, though the pathway is a bit daunting if you are afraid of heights.
Only downside is we went in early August, and temperatures were about 12°C - 15°C all morning. It only warmed up a few hours in the afternoon. If you are into such weather then you'll have fun up there.

Though a bit out of town, the playground is very well thought of and done. With physical activities for children of different age groups it’s lots of fun for everyone.

The food at the restaurant was good too.

We traveled as a group of 8 friends in two vehicles to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Afriland Safaris , our driver and guide was Omar, highly professional....very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable , knew the parks like the back of his hand, saw many elephants, cheetahs, leopards, lions and lots of other wildlife.
We stayed at the Heritage camp which was an amazing place with so much natural beauty. We are planning another trip in 2020. I would highly recommend Afriland safaris.

We spent 2 nights at Mama Mary’s home and we loved it: warm welcome, comfortable house, very quiet place. We also had a cooking class in the morning and could eat the food we prepared, it was delicious. We highly recommend the place. Mama Mary speaks good English and her house meets European standards.

The Safari with Adam's group was really wonderful. We saw many animals: elephants, lions and even a rhino. The car was confortable and we enjoyed tasteful meals every day. So many thanks to Godson the driver and Peter the cook. And of course for adam that provided the safari on last minute.
