This tour was everything I expected it to be. I had looked online for various tours for Tanzania for many years, and 2024 was finally the year it was happening.

Eventually, I booked in with Suricata as I trusted the thousands of other 5 star reviews and the price was much more reasonable than the other tour company’s. As a female solo traveller, I also really enjoyed how they included a transfer from the Airport to the hotel/tour start as this was quite confronting in my situation of not knowing another country.

From start to finish, everything was well organised and I couldn’t help but feel so grateful for the amazing team members who at every second of the trip went out of their way to make my safari as enjoyable as possible. Frederick (driver) and Salim (chef) are incredible at their jobs, and they are insanely knowledgeable. Salim has been a chef for 8 years, and received compliments from other tour guides/competition at every campsite. I will miss his avocado and mango salad terribly!

The campsites are what you would expect, except the views at Ngoroogoroo are out of this world, and having elephants visit you mid dinner was a one in a lifetime experience! Eating off the car bonnet in Serengetti is also something I will never forget! Well done, Suricata!

The waterfall was beautiful, the coffee was so fun to make and the farmers are extremely nice and entertaining. The hot springs was like swimming in mermaid water.

I would highly recommend Suricata Safaris, especially because the staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Our guide Mandela, set up each experience thoughtfully and shared his love of the animals with us. I looked forward to hearing the information he shared. He responded to all my questions.

The accommodations at Seronera Lodge, Angata
Ngorongoro Tented Camping and Suricata Boma Lodge were outstanding in terms of comfort, food choices and hospitality. It appears that the personnel enjoy their jobs and respond as members of a team. The team spirit at Suricata Boma Lodge is exemplary. They sang, danced and laughed their way into our hearts.

Daniel greeted us and explained how the tour worked. In addition, he included a city tour of the market and other locations.

Tito cooked nutritious and delicious lunches daily and Mandela served them at the well-located picnic sites throughout the national parks.

Together with my brother, sister & my nephews we took went on this trip. The hike trail to the meru waterfalls is great, can be slippery but quite adventurous. The waterfalls is not grande. We then proceed to the next adventure to canoe on lake duluti & walking through the forest reserves. The transfers was smooth & punctual as a local i do appreciate this as its very hard to find. Zakayo our guide and driver, Elisha, were amazing! Punctual, friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable. Zakayo made sure we were taken care of and met us at our pace. He was friendly and encouraging. Would recommend him! Elisha accommodated us well needing lots of air conditioning. Clean vehicle. Smooth vehicle.

Demanding hike. Take your time for the ascent and it is best to start before 8a.m. so that you have enough time on the mountain.

During this safari day, we had a guide who loved his job – he was both engaging and interested. Moreover, he was friendly, open to humor, and our exchanges were filled with laughter and seriousness. Hassan, thanks for this experience and your keen eye. We saw a lioness and a lion, giraffes, and elephants passing right next to our vehicle – truly incredible. Thanks, and Hakuna Matata. The local meal was fantastic.

This tour was really great. Everybody was friendly, information about coffee history, planting, harvesting was very interesting. We had fun with peeling, roasting and cooking coffee. Reuben told us about the work of The Small Things, impressing and hopeful.

Everything was superb, we had enough time around Arusha city with our guide kelvin and visited Arusha museum, masai Market and Arusha cultural heritage centre. The services from each place we went was amazing as they provided us with everything we wanted to know! I can highly recommend to visit these places for new experiences!
