A good tour through the christian religious sites of Israel. Although I'm not religious in any way, I would recommend this tour. The seen buildings look beuatiful and every site has a historical component as well. Furthermore, our guide Dan had a lot of interesting facts for us. He cared for our wellbeing and made the tour a success.

Dan was an amazing guide very insightful details that he took the time to talk about interest points throughout our tour. He also was speaking in English and German for our tour group. I would highly recommend Dan and Bein Harim tours for your trip to Israel. Thank you for a wonderful experience In Nazareth.

Overall, Bein Harim does very good day tours from Tel Aviv. This one is no exception as the tour guide and sites visited were all top notch. However, I have to comment on the one event that was not top notch. The entire tour was take to lunch at the Tamar restaurant where we were offered 3 lunch choices all for $27 each. Many of us felt that this lack of choice of entrees was odd and at the same time expensive. Drinks cost extra. I had the chicken skewers which were mediocre at best and no where near worth the $27 price tag. In addition, all the tour participants were required to sit together at a long table for the meal. Some of us would have liked to spend some time in our own groups given the tour group was together on the bus and at each venue. I would recommend bringing some food for lunch if you take this tour and decline the tour guides proposal of the Tamar restaurant. There is seating outside of the restaurant. Otherwise, the tour is well worth the time and cost.

The Biblical Highlights of the Galilee is exactly as set forth in the brochure. First you visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph, followed by other new testament biblical sites and ending at the baptismal site on the River Jordan. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the stops appropriate for the sites seen. One word of caution: Lunch is not included and you are pretty much coerced into joining the group at the "St. Peter's Restaurant" on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, where you can eat the so-called "Famous St. Peter's Fish". (There is no other restaurant around so you pretty much have to eat there.) The lunch costs 80 shekels - about US$21. The St. Peter's Fish tastes like any other fish served in mass quantities. There is a salad buffet which isn't bad, but since every bus tour group stops at the restaurant, the place is mobbed. There are literally hundreds of people in the cavernous room so waits at the salad buffet can be fairly long. But the wait staff does a pretty good job in getting the main course served and of course in collecting the money for the lunch.

We took the tour in Spanish, overall the tour is well organized and the guide beforehand told us about the itinerary. The only bad point was that at the end, we had to go to Tel Aviv and the company arranged our transfer to Jerusalem in a private taxi. Because of this we lost some time. Other than that, the experience was good.

WE had an amazing day with Kobi hiking in the Golan. Its a magical land and he really knows the area, the hidden trails and historic places. Even my 15 year-old was impressed! We got to explore abandoned Syrian fortifications, amazing views, then did a 2-hour hike on the most gorgeous mountain trails to a spring and waterfall.

All followed by a Druze feast -- fresh-baked pastry with lamb -- that I am still talking about.

I would highly recommend a day of exploring the Golan with Kobi and GoKedem. Its an experience that will lift you up and give you a whole new appreciation of nature and Israel.

We took this tour in March 2019 because we wanted to see more than the bus tours offered.

    First the pluses:
-- Mr. Zelkind was willing to pick us up at the airport and drop us off at our hotel, a great convenience. We arranged for the time and place for pickup via email.
-- We also communicated via email as to our itinerary. He responded promptly and allowed us to have changes from the sites described for the tour.
-- Mr. Zelkind is knowledgeable about the Sea of Galilee sites, drives well, knows the ins-and-outs of the area's parking/traffic, etc. and is polite.

    On the other hand:
-- Confirm the itinerary, once at the beginning and once before you leave to make sure it is correct.
-- If you add or exchange sites, he will advise that additional admission fees are incurred, but no refunds are given for sites you do not see.
-- Confirm whether the schedule you have constructed is feasible in the amount of time designated for the tour or whether an extra hourly charge will likely be incurred. Bring cash.
-- Be aware that customs can take up to an hour and arrange for pickup accordingly.
-- Mr. Zelkind can occasionally be opinionated.

Overall, I would recommend him -- it was a good experience in that he communicated well, drove well, knew the area and was knowledgeable about the sites. We did get to see more than we would have had we taken a bus tour but be prepared to push a little to see all that you desire. Lastly, if this is your only trip to the Sea of Galilee and you want it to be meaningful, take a break occasionally from the commentary!
