This site has been well preserved and remains can be seen as per the book of Revelations in the Bible. The waterworks are quite impressive as well.

I love archeology because things just keep turning up that make us reevaluate historical opinions. This ancient bath house makes us rethink so many preconceived notions we have about the town. If it was in fact, in use at the time of Jesus or before, Nazareth would have had to have been a larger city than we have imagined since there would have had to have been a population to support a facility of this type.

Tzipori is an important archaeological site in Israel. It has one of the most impressive collections of Roman mosaics in all of Israel. The site is well laid out and there are parking places and walkways for impaired walkers. The synagogue is very impressive and different due to its huge mosaic with figures and animals. You can also see the system of canals they built for water to the city.
