I will be looking for more guided walks of this kind in future. He took us to famous shops of chikankaari and attar shops. He also knew Some of the best and underrated spots for best meals. - Amartya R1 contributionWe recently took a same-day tour from Lucknow to Ayodhya, and it was truly a memorable experience. Our guide, Alok, was exceptional, providing detailed insights about the history and significance of Ayodhya at each stop. The visit to Ram Janmabhoomi Temple was seamless, and we were able to have a smooth and peaceful darshan of the Ram Mandir, which was a deeply spiritual moment.
The boat ride along the Saryu River was another highlight. It offered stunning views of Ayodhya from the water and added a serene touch to the day. Walking through Ram Ki Paidi was equally fascinating, with its vibrant atmosphere and beautiful ghats.
Our driver, Vivek, ensured a comfortable journey from start to finish. He was punctual, polite, and navigated the roads with ease, making the trip stress-free.
Overall, this tour was incredibly well-organized, and both Alok and Vivek made our visit to Ayodhya an unforgettable experience. We stayed in Hyatt Lucknow and organized this day trip to Ayodhya and back. Since Ayodhya as a town with sufficient star hotels is yet to happen, traveling from Lucknow is a good option. Thus organizing this travel with spiritual sojourn is very good. The organizer was quick to respond to my questions, answered via WhatsApp, organized the car and driver and the guide in Ayodhya. They were also accommodative on our request for preferred time and places to visit in Ayodhya apart from Sri Rama Janmabhoomi. They showed us Sita palace, Hanuman Garhi, and Sarayu river apart from Sri Rama Janmabhoomi. Since we hold USA passport, we has special queue for foreigners that also helped faster Darshan. Overall spiritual Darshan does a very good job. However, we were not impressed by the guide they gave us, you expect the guide to tell us historical perspective and good stories. But the guide was more like a local showing you the way. That was disappointing. Also, he took us to Sarayu river at location we wondered why when he could have taken us to place where Arathi is conducted (even though we mentioned, we won’t stay for Sarayu Arathi). The guide must also be someone who is devotee of Sri Ram and his Parivar. This aspect must improve. Also the driver (very good person) can come more professionally dressed and should be more interactive. The car can also be a better quality one. However, I must commend prompt responses to my questions and timely responses. My suggestions are for the business to look very professional and top class so it can attract more tourists.
