This hike made me realize how precious our planet earth is and how we should do more to take care of treasures like this. Our guide Gustavo was amazing. His love for nature was very evident, and his knowledge of the biodiversity in this region was inspiring!

Great hike through beautiful jungle to beautiful beaches. Our guide was fantastic as he provided an historical perspective of the National Park and surrounding environs. He pointed out plants and fauna as well as very interesting medicinal uses for some. We got to see monkeys and a variety of bird species. Plus, we got to see indigenous peoples and learn about their history and ongoing efforts to preserve their culture and way of life.

Spectacular, magical place, still fairly untouched with enough good balance of modernity, but definitely nature steals the show.

Our guide was excellent. Our food stops varied from the local market, street food vendors to restaurants. Great variety of food and drinks typical of Santa Marta cuisine. Small group and the guide went out of his way to ensure we all enjoyed this experience.

Me and the family had an incredible day at the Park with Cesar. This tour was truly excellent. The beauty of this place is pristine and our hospitable guide made for a memorable experience. Cesar was as knowledgeable as he was kind. Thank you so so much. Highly recommend 👌

This is not Disneyland, if you go expecting that, you'll be very disappointed. It's dirty, occasionally smelly, noisy and not completely safe.
Also I loved it! The places we stayed, the vibrant music, the very friendly people (mostly) the food was amazing, the cost of everything was very cheap compared to Canada.
Minca, Tayrona, Buritaca, Taganga, Rodadero all worth a visit if not just for some amazing seafood.

We started the 4 day adventurous hike with our amazing guide Dennis, translator Maria-Laura, and assistant guide Samuel and our ever greatest cook Fernando (who always sleeps in the kitchen 🤩🤩). It was heavy, rainy, amazingly breathtaking and super experience. We were taken care off, motivated, supported, with many laughs and spiritual sharings. Our children of 13 and 15 were very much taken care off. Thank all of you guys to make us live an amazing adventure. Hopefully we’ll meet again one day🤩 Noor, Noah, Koen & Mitchell

We booked the tour with travesia because we got from the beginning a great response from them. We had 4 amazing days and hat the best tour guides. Mr Wilson is working for more than 30 years on this tour and he has so much knowledge about how it changed and about the indigenous people. Sleeping in the camps was very good and the Moskito nets are proper ones ;) also the was always plenty of food and we got served very well. It was a hard hike from time to time but the guides were helping out and motivated us wherever they could. Definitely recommend to book a tour with them.

I would definitely recommend this excursion and especially Nestor and his driver I can't remember his name. Anyway the tour was very informative and seeing Simon Bolivar estate is a must in Santa Marta. We also toured the town and many beautiful and churches. Communication and timing were perfect and they sent us a picture of the car and identity so we could see it once we got off the ship and went to the location it was safe and easy to spot. Nestor was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for making this a memorable trip .

Leo, the guide, has good connections with key people in the Sierra Nevada area granting access to great experiences of these uniquely biodiverse mountains. From genuine encounters with tribes to fun jungle adventures, a few days with Leo is bound to be an insightful experience through stunning locations.

The highlights of our trip in April 2022 would be swimming across jungle rivers, sighting Howler Monkeys and cultural exchanges with the Murumbuke community.
