We've been a couple of days in Kasane and took the opportunity to see the Vic-Falls for a day.
The pick-up at the hotel in Kasane was easy, transport nice and comfortable, just a couple of minutes, smooth ride to the border with a handover to a Zimbabwean tour guide at the border.
After approx 1h waiting at the border we finally made it. As it was October we were the only 2 guests of the day with the guide so it was easy to talk throughout the 1h drive to the Falls. He showed us the whole Falls and we really enjoyed the guided walk. Water level was low which is good for pictures as the lens is not washed away by all the spray.
The lunch was very good quality and can be recommended, drinks to pay but thats ok. The market afterwards is for guys who know to negotiate - we didn't and made the dealer quite happy. As a recommendation, walk the market until you saw everything and compare the prizes. Do not buy at the most pleasant person as they know how to handle tourists ;-)

With my friend Simon travel agent "AFRICA BEAST SAFARI in Zimbabwe" we leave Victoria Falls for Hwange Safari Lodge a great adventure on the roads of Zimbabwe in his company

    HWANGE SAFARI LODGE

On the edge of Hwange National Park, the lodge offers a wide choice of accommodation. Overlooking a waterhole heavily used by elephant who come daily in the evening to drink and continue their rte, floodlit at night, day/night game drives The Hwange Safari Lodge is located on the border of Hwange National Park and overlooks a point of water for animals very frequented. Just a two-hour drive from Victoria Falls, you're in big game country. As a premier wildlife sanctuary, Hwange is home to elephants, buffaloes, sables, lions, cheetahs, kudus, impalas, wildebeests, zebras and more.

Accommodation at Hwange Safari Lodge offers a good range of choices, from suites to standard rooms. On site the lodge has two restaurants and two bars. Activities are primarily centered around game viewing, which can be done early in the morning, during the day or at night. I had a great stay organized by the agency “AFRICA BEAST SAFARI”

Me and my family organized the trip to Vic Falls with Africa Beast Safari, and Simon was so helpful since moment one. He would answer all my endless question and was always available to give me a quick call to answer them!

Once in the Falls they took charge of everything! His team was super nice with us, they drove us around to buy some stuff, showing us around!

They took charge of driving us to the border of Botswana, where another car was waiting for us. We really didnt have to worry about anything, and it was great!

I would definitely recommend to travel with them!

They actually ended up switching our game drive and river cruise around so that the cruise was in the morning. This was done for maximum game viewing at those times. We saw a ton of elephants up close as well as a number of other animals, including hippos, giraffes, impala, kudu, crocodiles, baboons, Cape buffalo, warthogs, meerkats, Jesus birds and many others. The game drive was not private as promised, and we went on a set trail with another group in our vehicle, but I don’t think it would have made any difference in the experience.

Our guides on both the boat (Mec) and the camp/drive (Haskins) were amazing. We saw so many animals including watching some crazy giraffe interactions and tracking 5 lions on the hunt. It was a group for but as it was only the the of us felt like a private tour. The camp site and food was so much more than we expected. Overall an amazing experience. Thanks David and team at Afrinature.

This was an amazing adventure! We saw so many beautiful, majestic animals on the safari ride in to camp. The beauty is honestly breathtaking. Camping in the bush was so fun! A lovely dinner with friends around the campfire was the perfect ending to a spectacular day! The animal sounds, especially the yell of the baboons, on the morning game drive out of camp was something I will never forget. I would highly recommend this camping experience.

BEST RAFTING TRIP EVER! I am an experienced rafter from the United States and this was my second time on the Zambezi with Shockwave. They are a top notch company, very professional, and guarantee you will have the best adventure.

The water is warm, the rapids are big and friendly, the food is great, and the scenery can’t be beat. Shockwaves guides are world class, you can not be in better hands.

The ten day trip is the best option. All your transportation between rafting and safaris is included, which makes less work for you on holiday. The Safari lodges and guides are great. We saw Wild Dogs, a Lepord, and had elephants visit us while we were in the pool!

Book your trip now, bring all your friends (I brought 22 people from the US with me in October!), and prepare for an amazing experience.

Vic Falls and Chobe Parks were fantastic and wholly met expectations, and transportation arrangements (including border handoff) were timely and smooth. The sunset cruise on the Zambezi is a must, and all of our game boats/drives were successes. However, the camping was not quite as envisioned. We were in a campground at the edge of an in town lodge. On the plus side the tents and sleeping bags/mats and bedding were clean and in good condition and the shared bathroom & showers were fine, it was not “bush camping”. The camping area was used by some self-driving visitors (with campers) and some drivers, and we were tucked together pretty closely. We had access to the lodge facilities (5+ min walk), but there was no real space to sit/hang out at the campsite, so it was a somewhat awkward arrangement. We spent the first night in the tents (safe and slept well), but we relocated to alternate accommodations for night #2. The Botswana safari team (Kimpho and Philamon) were very attentive and accommodating.
