The house is pretty amazing in terms of the apparent size from outside and the spaciousness of it all once you walk around inside. The architectural details are really beautiful and it is actually possible to get lost as corridors and rooms wind around in a way that makes it difficult to keep it all straight. Best to take a guide if you really want to understand it all, especially as there is little in the way of signage and explanation of what you are seeing. Or they could print up some brochures with explanations. It only costs BD1, though, so maybe you shouldn't expect too much. It's in an interesting little corner of the city so you can wander a bit before or after visiting the house. It's an enjoyable way to spend 45 minutes or so.

Best place for a less crowded shopping , see a movie and hang out at the nearby Fort. The mall has the finest restaurants with variation of cuisine like Greek, international, Lebanese ,Indian and Asian foods. Play grow for the kids, jog by the seafront and sunset viewing for those who loves nature.

Dragon city is always good to burn some time and some money. If you like something in a shop buy it as you may not find the shop again.

Only downside is some shops charge you more for the color or your skin or nationality.

Good place to visit if your looking for cheap items.

There are a number of forts around Bahrain, with each of them having something different going from them. Arad Fort is located in a quiet spot, so you're likely to have the place to yourself. It's not huge but it makes up for that with great city views from the top. Certainly worth a stop if you are nearby.

Some year, this will be a nice place, but 2020 is not that year. Even the Uber driver asked us if this was truly the place we wanted to be dropped. It's large, and from the outside looks more like a bomb shelter than a museum. Inside the walls, they have nicely renovated some old structures, but there is not a sign anywhere in any language to indicate what you are seeing. There is also a closed, formidable looking new age building, with no visible entrance, that turns out to be a visitor and interpretive space. I've posted some photos to help you find the entry. The Pearling Pathway itself was so interesting to walk! Keep an eye out for the occasional sign indicating that you are on the path and the direction to turn. But again be warned that you need to get the pathway map from the website of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (pearlingpath.bh at the time of this post), plus you will need an active map app, plus some other source for information on what you are seeing. Definitely worth the visit, but it takes some effort.

Beautiful & Quiet beach!!! Open from 9 am to 6 pm. 3 bd for adults. Children have a different rate.

Little restaurants in front of the beach. Some of them open around 11:30 am and the food trucks open around 5:00 pm for now. Cafes, and fast food, indian, mexican, shawarma, ice cream, healthy smoothies, etc .

Smaller Mall with a good selection of shops nonetheless. An emphasis on food and cafe culture but a big department store plus a good selection of specialty shops. Easy to walk around. Good parking and as I was staying at Gulf Hotel quite close for a walk to this one. Opposite the grand Mosque. Likeable but not mega.

When the weather not so hot and humid, I like to do some sport there, and I don't really like the restaurants that are open there. We should have better.

Unless interested in their field, the only thing you can do here is admire the inside and the outside of this beautiful building

I decided on Scuba Life because I wanted to advance my diving training through the Padi Advanced Open Water. The extensive courses and good ratings enticed me to choose Scuba Life and I wasn’t disappointed. Great set up, great instructor, Baher, who made it a fun and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
