- DaisyBrambles319 contributionsWe were advised if you bought tickets online you could just walk in but this isn’t the case as we arrived for opening and still had to queue for sometime. They had ran out of towels to hire at 10am so had to hire robes instead bit chaotic. The spa itself is fabulous. We had read to go and book your massage as soon as you arrive and they book up quickly and we managed to get a nice couples massage booked. We loved all the different saunas and mineral baths. We stayed for dinner and was nice. I had the prawn mango salad to start whilst my partner had the delicious spicy prawns both cooked perfectly.. I had the lobster tails risotto for main and whilst tasty disappointed no tools were provided to open tails which was difficult when they are hot and made my hand all oily and no finger bowl was provided. My partner had surf n turf but was served a raw steak not medium as asked for. The waitress actually scoffed and said that is medium in Romania but we knew that was untrue as my partner had many steaks in Romania and this was the only place that served a rare raw steak as medium. It was returned and cooked medium which was much more enjoyable. Far too many flies buzzing about and the service wasn’t great had to even look for a waiter at one point. We did love the spa though.Written 3 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- giana_14Cluj-Napoca, Romania56 contributionsWe took a sleepover with dinos and we really enjoyed it. Great experience and we highly recommend. Our 5yo son was delighted by the dino tour by night, camp fire, 9D cinema and sleeping in a tent. The staff was very nice and explained everything to the kids and also made sure that everyone has everything that was neededWritten 17 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dominic LillywhiteOrpington, UK4 contributionsIt was fun and the slides and pools were very good but the inside slides and diving boards were shut.

There are several terrace restaurants, kiosks with snacks and sweets. A beautiful place, where it is worth spending a few hours with your child.Written 31 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicola S7 contributionsWe are here for 10 days. We attended yesterday (Sunday) opening times were until 8pm. We didn't arrive until late afternoon due to the children having dance classes. It is a brilliant waterpark however we were very disappointed that they closed all of the slides at 6pm. Why? Still 2hrs until closing and no slides to go on! For the price they charge and the short time we had there during the girls only afternoon off from their ballet summer school I think it was quite expensive. They charge extra for weekends due to longer opening hours but no extra time go on slides! The three girls were so excited only to be disappointed by losing those 2hrs.Written 24 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ivet95Bratislava, Slovakia1 623 contributionsMaybe 10-minute walk to the haunted com and there to diversify the day associated with Dracula, dragons and ghosts. For children from 12 years old. It's not super scary, but the sounds and lights of small children can make they will feel bad. It is not for people with limited mobility.Written 8 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Molly8 contributionsGreat waterpark. Long queues on weekends to get a ticket but once you're in there's plenty of space to sit. Plenty of food and drink available. Slides are fun.Written 22 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- yossmillerZichron Yaakov, Israel181 contributionsI can say , that i am a constant visitor of. Baile Felix in Romania. The “ Apolo “, is the public aqua-park of the site, well equipped and pleasant. In the summer season , is agglomerated, as well. The water origin is hot springs, so some pools , might be hot in summer time (38C*) and pleasant in other seasons.
An other problem with the outdoor pools in summer, was at the times of my visit, properly at Apolo (a few years ago) the lack of shadowed parts.
There are many hotels, with their own aqua-park ( such as: Lotus therm & spa, International, President, Termal ) on diverse levels of standard and cost , which resolve this problem .
I tried a few of them and found them, from excellent to good level.Written 20 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The setting is nice and has different zones for different customer needs: a place for babies, a pool with slides for young children, some slides for teens and adults, a lazy river, something for everyone. However, our son was told he isn't allowed to slide on the teens/adults slides even if he met the height criteria because he was not 10. Some staff personnel would allow him, other would enforce the rule, so we all were confused.
The food available on the premise was average, with enough options, but nothing great about it.
Us adults, we enjoyed our time there, sipping a cocktail next to the pool, sunbathing and relaxing.
Overall, an average experience.Written 30 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is an area that is just over 76000 ha , a region in the mountains, still covered with forests and crossed by roads that offer spectacular opportunities for some scenic drives.
Ranging over 3 counties , Bihor 40% - the biggest area and Cluj and Alba counties with about the same split of 30% ...
There are several areas of main interest - Padis area , with all it's geological formations like- caves, crags, gorges, spectacular river and stream beds.
Trials for hiking , found in abundance, waterfalls and lakes are also present.
Overall a place definitely worth visiting, where the nature loving traveler can spend days, weeks, months , discovering all the natural beauty that these places can offer.
The majority of landmarks are free of charge - except for a several caves where you need to pay an entrance fee , or in the winter the ski pass for the ski slopes that are to be found in the area.
... and why not the perfect score - once more because there are buildings and land works where they should not be and because of the human intervention you can see garbage here and there - so if you are visiting do the right thing and take your leftovers with you, please.Written 24 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Large pools, plenty of grass area, many restaurants and not expensive at all.
New fencing around the pool area. This to allow free entry to the non pool area, only now need to pay to swim.
One major complaint. I have been to this complex several times since 2015. I have never seen the water slides open. Even the brand new one is closed. Locals have told me that the slides have not been open for the past 3 years - why?
I know the former Mayor was done fot corruption and that the Romanian Football Federation have pulled their funding of certain areas of the complex, but sure the TM Council can afford water and electricity?
Good place, but spoilt by the non working water slides.Written 11 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Juker-BrxBrussels, Belgium105 contributionsExcellent models of 100 buildings and even whole cities, castles, fortified churches, a steel mill, a hammer mill, a wood lift. Very well executed. A nice little train runs through and kids love to ride it.
It would be nice to get more explanations in English, and there also explanations that include the context. Because as someone who is not super familiar with transilvanian history, it is not always easy to understand.Written 10 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Owen MCambridge, UK196 contributionsA quite small urban park between the Bulevardul Lacul Tei and the lake itself, as well as just west of another larger park, Plumbuita, this open space has several advantages. It seems much better managed and quieter than other Bucharest parks, and has several other pluses, including a big wheel, go-karts (or bumper-cars), a children's playground and pontoons going out into the lake - which is less obviously polluted than we expected. It is less than half and hour's walk from metros at Stefan cel Mare and Obor, and has trams on the adjacent streets. There are kiosks with ice-creams and snacks, as well as a restaurant (President), which we did not visit. A little off the beaten track for visitors to the city centre, but worth the trip and, together with Plumbuita, providing a diverse area for rest and recreation toward the edge of Bucharest proper (near the boundary of Ilfov county).Written 28 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SkiffekVienna, Austria33 contributionsThe pool, deck and bar area are clean and inviting, the designated children's are not so much. Don't expect a quiet place, there is lounge music running all around, and you are about to share the sun deck and the rather small pool with up to 200 other people. Other than that, we really enjoyed the visit at Tiki Village. The pool was closed when the sun disappeared behind the trees, the bar stayed opened until night. Weekend price was RON 30,- for an adult.Written 22 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
