- M B3 contributionsWe went for a spa day with a deep tissue massage. The spa is amazing, you can really relax and calm down. The relaxation room is 16+ so very peaceful most of the time. The indoor pool is somewhat more busy but in the mornings it’s really nice.

It was our first experience of a Thai massage and the masseuses took this into consideration and we had a wonderful treatment. They checked our comfort throughout the treatment to ensure we were comfortable. We were very relaxed afterwards and would recommend this spa to our friends. It is not possible to swim as the water is only waist deep (at its deepest). Of the two small water slides, one was closed. Non of the internal food stalls were open (middle of August). At no stage throughout our visit did you see a member of staff / life guards wandering around. The only staff we saw was the lady taking your 55 kuna per person to enter the facility. There is no background music playing. In fact after 30 minutes (unless your under the age of 6) you will become extremely bored.
The owners should take a trip to Tuhunski Toplice and see how a facility should be run, plenty of staff to keep (1) kids safe, (2) kids and adults alike busy (3) bring some cheer and life to the location.
A long trip for us sadly did not meet anywhere near our expectations. Sleeping on a boat wasn’t helping! As soon as you walk through the door, you relax. There is a beautiful smell and peaceful running water. The whole place is really relaxing. My back massage was for an hour and I asked for a firm massage. The Thai lady climbed up on the bed and gave me a fantastic massage. Plenty of elbows in my knotted muscles, oil and stretching. She found the worst parts and really worked on them. I had a full hour for €40 and would highly recommend it.
