Visited my family earlier this year for the first time since they moved to Singapore in 2020. They recommended I take the guided tour of Battlebox and I am so glad I did. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. The tour explains a lot about the British surrender to the Japanese and it was all the more interesting as you were in the very rooms where the decision to surrender was taken. One of the highlights of my trip.

With a wide range of exhibits, be prepared to spend at least half a day, if not longer here. General admission is free for locals, with some special exhibits which require fees (although these are free for students and teachers).

It used to be better earlier, still good to visit. Interesting place to spend couple of hours in hot afternoon or during rains.
Strangely you have to take stirs to go up and down, not sure how people on wheelchairs can visit.
There were lifts but were closed.
Still one of the must visit place in SG, just outside you can take a stroll at riverside and even walk to Merlion and Esplanade.

We were there on Friday and Saturday, and the park is a sanctuary for peaceful stroll / jog either alone or with your loved ones. The roosters and their family would greet you with their crow. The squirrels were busy going from branch to branch. We even spotted a macaw. There was fragrance in the air, from the jasmine flowers (i think).
You can even meditate at the Meditation Garden.

Lovely piece of the past put to modern uses.
Near to Carlton Hotel and Raffles.
Lots of food of various types and several bars and coffee outlets . An open space for seating and music.
Good if you need a toilet as you wander the city.
Covid has slowed the pace and the range of places open at any time but a nice place to escape the heat.
Church nearby with University, park and museum 100 m away

It was an amazing experience to discover every dimension of the mansion with Mr Ricky and to be guided by him during the tour. He's very knowledgeable and amiable. We have obtained a lot of information regarding the history of Peranakan from him throughout the tour. Despite the pandemic, it didn't affect the quality of the hospitality from the staffs as they are very helpful and welcoming.

Great place to wonder and shop in air conditioned comfort. Access to Marina Link that takes you underground, great benefit in heat and rain, to marina Square and the mass transit system.
Prices and sales excellent at the moment as very few overseas shoppers. easy to get about with excellent english signage.
Staff at all places fantastic and single point Covid entry access at real plus. So no need to QR each shop

We walked around this place. It was in the day time and so it was bit hot. But still the view was good and it was worth taking.

Wonderfully transformed from the strictly IT mall to a smart-nation concept with something for everyone. Youngsters would love the cycling track and rock wall, hipsters the coffee joints and glamping shops and concept stalls .Foodies will wecome the wide variety from Kopitiam and foodcourts to Ajumma and Paradise. Tiong Bahru Bakery is good enough for me!

IT shops still there, mainly 4th and 5th floors. A cinema and performance areas too.

Brightly lit, jazzy, a little disorienting but eclectic and dynamic.

The toilets are wonderful, never crowded, clean and quiet.

I visited here for the first time to watch candle light. The place seems new, clean and the seat is comfortable. Something new to me😁

This building as its name suggest is a former fire station, but is now a museum. The building itself is lovely to look at and were it not for the information here on TA and in the museum, I’d never have guessed its former function. The building is a nice mix of Moorish, Malay and Victorian architecture and the interleaved red and white bricks at the front of the building are especially eye-catching.
