With a wide range of exhibits, be prepared to spend at least half a day, if not longer here. General admission is free for locals, with some special exhibits which require fees (although these are free for students and teachers).

It used to be better earlier, still good to visit. Interesting place to spend couple of hours in hot afternoon or during rains.
Strangely you have to take stirs to go up and down, not sure how people on wheelchairs can visit.
There were lifts but were closed.
Still one of the must visit place in SG, just outside you can take a stroll at riverside and even walk to Merlion and Esplanade.

Opposite Raffles hotel and the Mall in a great location. Historic central building that is full of character. Lots of restaurant choices inside and out

Great place to wonder and shop in air conditioned comfort. Access to Marina Link that takes you underground, great benefit in heat and rain, to marina Square and the mass transit system.
Prices and sales excellent at the moment as very few overseas shoppers. easy to get about with excellent english signage.
Staff at all places fantastic and single point Covid entry access at real plus. So no need to QR each shop

We walked around this place. It was in the day time and so it was bit hot. But still the view was good and it was worth taking.

I thought that the Raffles hotel boutique was fantastic, - a great collection of nice things to choose from, and my husband enjoyed reading about the story of the hotel on a wall there. But the other stores in the Arcade are luxury brands of watches, photography and up on the first floor even furniture store which I am not interested in during a holiday.

The main cathedral in Singapore and a stunning example of the architecture of the area which I so adore, so striking and clean.

Although one floor is closed for a new display I still found this a worthwhile stop. To see so many toys in one place is just amazing.
A bar on the top floor is great for a cold drink.

Great service, good food, not too noisy. Like the friendly n homely feeling when dinning. Good for family dinner.

A more interesting mall with a lot of shops you won’t see elsewhere.

Geared mainly to the young, quite a lot going on all of the time. Climbing wall holding training and competitions while the food courts and basement restaurants hum.

Cool shops like Japanese stationers and a Brompton bike hub which actually has stock.

Interesting, far from the maddening crowd on Orchard

I visited here for the first time to watch candle light. The place seems new, clean and the seat is comfortable. Something new to me😁

Historic suspension bridge dating back to 1868 by a Glaswegian company, - P & W Maclellan. The bridge was used to hoist art for the Singapore Art week which colour to its otherwise grey structure. It looks great by night too.

This is great for a sense of history. The Ground floor has a timeline and examples of equipment used over the first hundred years of the Fire Service.

The Upper floor has some activities to tell kids what they SCDF does, not really engaging for young children.

Perched on the Singapore River just below the colorful shades of Clark Quay is this building currently housing the communications ministry in Singapore. This seemingly modern rainbow is actually an historic structure that was the old police station. This explains its location in the colonial quarter. In a beautiful sun drenched tropical city so many buildings are painted white. However, this one breaks that with an amazing rainbow around each window and shutter. The color scheme is carried vertically from the ground floor to the top. However, each floor as you go horizontal is mixture of so many colors. Also if you travel the river to Clarke Quay, you can't miss it.

I have never written so many reviews for bridges in such a short span as Singapore. However, each has its own beauty and each its own time and purpose. Again at the old mouth of the Singapore River, this bridge was built around 1900 to carry the expansion of traffic. It is a heavy steel design but clearly more substantial than the historic Cavenagh Bridge and yet overtaken by the modern, geometric Esplanade Bridge. The Anderson is two spans side by side to handle the increase in commerce across the river. However, it has been amended again with one span now serving only pedestrians. Still, the heavy steel arch gives it character and style, and its location between the other two makes it ideal for pictures. Also at night the white painted steel looks amazing in purple light. It is another great bridge on the Singapore river.
