We were looked after by Tess who was amazing, frequently bringing over drinks (as we had the free flow option) and very attentive/helpful. We booked 4hrs, ended up actually staying for 5hrs (paid an extra 1hr) because it was that much fun. Played a few courses on the SIM first, then did the driving range. the Club options they have in the shop are good, however we took our owns clubs. SIM is very accurate, takes some getting used to on the short game as you don't have the visual like on a course.
We are already booking again to go back a few times over the next 2 months.
Highly recommend for anyone who want to enjoy golf whilst being able to easily socialise and have fun whilst playing different courses around the world.Written 15 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Pang CH1 contributionWent for a 15 days trekking trip + 3 days extension to ABC, Nepal, together with another friend. This was the first time I did mountain trekking and at high elevation. The mountain views are spectacular, it’s beyond the words of description, definitely worth the efforts. Our Guide, Mr Anil from Brothers International Tours and Trading P/L is very professional and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. He spotted several wildlife and introduced to us some wild fruits/plants along the way. During the trek, he constantly checked on us and adjusted the climbing pace accordingly. Our Porter, Mr Bharat, is super fit. With the loads he was carrying he was ahead of us most of the times. He also constantly check on us to see if we were doing fine. Along the way they have helped us overcome several obstacles and took care of us. We chatted and joked during the trek and have become more like friends. Highly recommend Brothers International. Will go back to them if I am planning for future trekking in Nepal. Its been quite a few years since I last dined at SCC Terrace Cafe and the favorite food like Fish&Cips, Beef Burger, Fried Chicken Wings, ...etc. remain good like before, price reasonable n friendly waitresses... They will change their tee off box and hole position constantly, so it is a different way of playing even if it is the same course. For the price I am paying, there is really nothing to complain about this public golf course. Good for beginners and high handicapper. Coach and students are a common sight, especially on a weekday. Service staff was also friendly and attentive. Each adult will need to pay around SGD 19.20/ball and there is special price for students or children too i guess. Course is challenging with narrow fairways and plenty of places to lose balls in the trees. Golf Cart hire is available on a first come first served basis. There is a gentleman selling drinks inc. beer on the 5th hole which offers a nice respite from the heat.

However government has taken back the golf course and I believe we have limited time to play the course before it's turned into a commercial development.

Sembawang has transformed from a course built on the grounds of an Airbase, with cow grass and poor drainage, to one of exquisite excellence, well manicured greens and fairways on a challenging eighteen hole layout. Lovely views on undulating grounds make this a gem.
Staff service and clubhouse atmosphere is just that, of a club. It was well worth it.
The Greg Norman course is very well established and shows his trademark bunkers (80+ and in two rounds I saw a lot of them) and it was in very good condition. There were not a lot of players, perhaps due to Ramadan, so progress was quick.
My caddy was great and knew the greens well. On the subject of greens they were in the middle of coring and top dressing so some were a challenge however those that had not been set upon were true and quick.
The pick up arrangements went smoothly and the staff were friendly and helpful and the online booking people (Anggela deserves mention) were very good.
All in all, even though the club house is a little tired it certainly represented excellent value for money.

Visitors to Singapore can berth their boats here as guests. A less expensive option that others in the south and south-west. Typically, my friends would stay a day or two before they moved their boats to Johor or Riau. The club handles all CIQ matters. Unless you are a boater or has a car, no tourists are likely to come to this end of Ponggol. A walk along the broadwalk during sunset is a nice experience though. I like the idea of living on a boat. Cheaper than staying in a mortgaged home. In the morning, one could have kaya toast at Ah Lok, and sunset or evening seafood at the pier bar. There are also wakeboarding sports and fishing operators to the Malacca Straits or South China Sea. This marina is not your typical see and go place of interest. Idea: One could host seafood BBQ dinners for business guests to take in the niche seclusion. However shiuttle bus will have to be arranged.
