The night show at the Gardens by the Bay is an absolute must do for anyone going to Singapore - its free. The domes you pay but also a must do

Another example of the garden city. plenty of things to see here.

The orchid gardens are improved since the last time I was here. I can't remember the cool house before. And new paths and everywhere.

Even saw a large monitor lizard stroll across the car park and disappear into the bush.

I didn’t realize there were so many different kinds of orchids! Plan to spend a few hours leisurely walking through the garden. So many varieties to see. Definitely use mosquito repellent. Bug bites made the experience less enjoyable.

What a gem! The variety of plants, orchids and view made the experience worthwhile. The added bonus was the cooler temperature.

The Flower Dome is absolutely beautiful. The collection of plants, from around the world, is fantastic. Many colourful displays which change with the seasons.

A newly redevelop garden for all to enjoy their morning or evening walks. There is a children’s playground too if one is coming as a family. It’s a place for all occasions. Bird watching, exercise, barbecue, site seeing, etc. Definitely worth a trip with friends and family.

Very cool place to visit, and excellent for taking pictures! The sculptures are very fascinating to look at. I recommend going in the early morning or evening, and it is a lot of walking under the hot sun otherwise.

Having recently visited Singapore on the way to Australia we visited the Butterfly Garden on both stops. It’s located in Terminal 3 and is free but is airside so only those travelling can visit. A great way to spend 20/30 minutes. Saw lots of different butterflies and the garden appeared to be well looked after. Very pretty and worth a look to kill some time.

It’s a beautiful hanging garden in Singapore Changi airport terminal 3. Sunflowers are all over there. It’s mostly used for smokers who wants to smoke in the lounge. Nice sitting arrangement.

This garden is only for Adults who are accompanied by kids. So you will not be able to go in without a child. Lots of nature, sand pit for sensory play, the water play area is currently under going a remake from what we saw. Tree top walks and a picnic area to eat lunch or have a short break. Lots of nature based play areas like the peek-a-boo box. There is a reception area where they share some booklets and maps for kids to use to interact with nature. The day we visited they were having an activity for kids to join for free! Just be sure to bring your own water bottles!

The admission fee for adults costs SGD 20 for foreigners and SGD 12 for Singaporean Residents. It's relatively small compared to the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, but it has its own charm. I loved how the colours of the flowers were so vibrant!

This is an awesome place with the feeling of real garden inside the airport. I had a transit of 9 hours and the sparing couple of hours to relax here is an awesome feeling.

Istana Park is a small park on the edge of Orchard Road, easily accessible and close to Fort Canning park.

It’s a free local park and open all hours. I found it when walking from Clarke Quay up to Orchard Road, which is a lovely 20 minute walk. Alternatively, it’s next to Dhoby Ghaut MRT and also accessible on many bus routes.

When I visited, they had a lovely little Christmas display.

The water feature, pond and trellis screening is beautiful to see.

This rooftop garden is well worth a visit. If you are a purist you may be disappointed because the majority of plants there are actually Euphorbias rather than cacti. Be warned, if this is likely to bother you, that this is also a smoking area.
