We travelled on land and in water, of course we got splashed...All in all, it was extraodinary experience! If you want a getaway, create memories and get a fresh perspective, this is it. Had a really good tour of the islands and also made new friends! - Rhonda1 contributionWe booked this tour last minute and Tour East staff went out of there way to accommodated us, thank you Ambun. We were the only two people on the tour as they have just restarted after Covid and I can say it was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide Anthony was so informative, he knew everything there was to know about Singapore and being the only two on the tour, we had his undivided attention and could ask him anything we wanted. The dinner in China town was great and plentiful, Chinese tea, a soup, spring rolls, two main meals, fried rice and dessert.
The Trishaw ride was fun and we had great weather for it, the driver was happy to take photos for us. We gave him a $5 tip. Had a stroll through the Bugis Markets. But the highlight was the River boat cruise, relaxing, great photo opportunity and informative. I can't speak highly enough of our guide James, he was friendly, informative, perfectly fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin I believe) and able to communicate well to us on this night out.

Brought the family along too. All of us had a great time at sea and our guide and boat captain Robin was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and had many stories to tell. He was also very friendly making us all feel very much at home on board his boat. Will definitely recommend Robin and the boat trip for anyone who wants to just get out to have some fun at sea.

He explained the history of Singapore to us as we walked around, and his enthusiasm for his city was infectious! We explored a vast area of the city, both by bus and on foot. We especially loved the view from a high rise roof, as well as the walking through local neighborhoods as the weather cooled down a bit. And the tea tasting at the end of the tour was a wonderful final touch. Gene went way above and beyond our expectations, guiding us back to our hotel at the end of our tour, then surprising us by sending up some hand wipes to our hotel room due to a comment I had made earlier about wishing I had thought to bring some with us for our stay in Singapore and our upcoming travel in Asia. The guides were extremely friendly and took great care of us throughout the activity. It was not just fun, but also educational as well. We could feel the passion the guides have for fishing and the outdoors, and that made us happy too.
