    Review of: Cloud Forest
    Beautiful reprieve from the heat and humidity
    What a gem! The variety of plants, orchids and view made the experience worthwhile. The added bonus was the cooler temperature.

    You can expect to see the whole of Singapore right here. During my time of visit, the observation deck was so spacious. Good to chill out.

    Amazing views! Yes you can also go to Ku de ta (or Ce la vi as they are called now), but similar view. But flyer is flyer.

    Review of: Supertree Grove
    Great light show
    A definite must see if you are in Singapore. Start by visiting in the afternoon and view the amazing view during the day, Have dinner at one of the wonderful restaurants in Marina Sands and end the night back at the Supertree Grove for a great light show.

    Flora at its finest
    The Flower Dome is absolutely beautiful. The collection of plants, from around the world, is fantastic. Many colourful displays which change with the seasons.

    Bustling shopping area
    Lot of malls on this road , Paragon , Tangs etc makes this a good shopping place for tourists .. nice eating places too

    Review of: Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay
    A must visit in Singapore
    A must visit place in SG.
    Make sure to take a stroll on promenade, go on rooftop for a drink and some good pictures.
    There is a library at level 3, a must see how well maintained Singapore public libraries are.

    There is a so called food street that opens at 4pm till late selling local food, more of a tourist trap.
    Better to go Lau Pa Sat for more authentic experience.

    Review of: Boat Quay
    Lovely to walk around, especially at night
    The river here resembles a carp, a sign of wealth under Chinese belief, so many shops were consequently built here and whilst the shipping may have died down over time the bustling commercial side remains. It's such a pleasant area to walk around.

    Review of: Marina Barrage
    In touch with Nature
    I usually get my rental bicycle outside MBS at the Waterfront Promenade as there are usually many bicycles parked there. Starting from there, I usually cycled around the perimeter of the Gardens By the Bay to reach the Marina Barrage. This route is quiet and scenic. Occasionally, I would continue on to Gardens By the Bay East and return my bicycle either at Stadium MRT station or at Kampong Kayu Road near to the Tanjong Rhu HDB estate. Recently, I returned my bicycle at Marina Barrage and had a scenic, windy walk along Marina South Promenade. The access to this path is via the carpark at Marina Barrage. Walking this path allows one to be fully in touch with nature, the sea, clouds, wild flowers and various trees and plants. It ends at Marina South Pier MRT station. Fishing is allowed at the breakwater here.

    Review of: The Pinnacle @ Duxton
    Great Views - Quiet
    $6 per person to go up to the top and get a fabulous view and walk about 500m around it all to see 360 degrees of SG.

    Ticket Management office is a bit hard to find down a small passage past the dentists and it closes 1-2 (helpfully) but certainly worth an hour or two of your time for the views

    Review of: Sultan Mosque
    Beautiful building
    After an original mosque was built on the site in 1824 for the first Sultan of Singapore, this impressive building, with it's onion shaped domes, was erected in 1928 and now stands as a national monument. Although we didn't venture inside the beautiful architecture can be admired externally and I adored the gold detailing.

    Review of: Raffles Hotel Arcade
    Visit the Raffles hotel boutique, but the other stores are not too interesting!
    I thought that the Raffles hotel boutique was fantastic, - a great collection of nice things to choose from, and my husband enjoyed reading about the story of the hotel on a wall there. But the other stores in the Arcade are luxury brands of watches, photography and up on the first floor even furniture store which I am not interested in during a holiday.

    Review of: Marina Bay Cruise Centre
    Organised Testing Prior to Embarking Cruise
    Organised with the ART done outdoors. I thought it was indoors and would be cold but no, it's outdoors under a shelter. So please dont wear a sweater like i did. There was always someone guiding you on where to go which is good.

    We booked the palace suite on dream cruise and managed to skip queues and have a more comfortable waiting area before immigration. however, no food and drinks in the "lounge". Why call it a lounge then?

    Dont forget to pay your tax (if you bought cigarettes / alcohol / souvenirs on the shp) after you disembark cuz the immigration checks your luggage like a hawk.

    Review of: Fountain of Wealth
    Great viewed from all angles
    Took a visit here to try to improve my luck. Had nice views of it from the Conrad Hotel. Walked around the customary three times and made a wish. A pleasent excursion.
