I arranged a family day trip to Malacca and Kuala Lumpur from Singapore via car. I booked from Viator Tours. We had an amazing tour guide name Eddison. He was an excellent driver and gave us such a personalized tour. It was interesting driving through the borders. So check-out the day trip and request Eddison and his team.

Eric was great--he showed us all the wonderful sights of this beautiful city and gave us suggestions for fun things to do that evening. It is the best way to see Singapore--in an air-conditioned vehicle with stops to walk along the river by the Parliament and National Gallery, Chinatown, Little India, and the beautiful Botanical Orchid Garden. We only had one day in Singapore and felt like we knew the city after this tour.

We booked this tour last minute and Tour East staff went out of there way to accommodated us, thank you Ambun. We were the only two people on the tour as they have just restarted after Covid and I can say it was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide Anthony was so informative, he knew everything there was to know about Singapore and being the only two on the tour, we had his undivided attention and could ask him anything we wanted. The dinner in China town was great and plentiful, Chinese tea, a soup, spring rolls, two main meals, fried rice and dessert.
The Trishaw ride was fun and we had great weather for it, the driver was happy to take photos for us. We gave him a $5 tip. Had a stroll through the Bugis Markets. But the highlight was the River boat cruise, relaxing, great photo opportunity and informative. Highly recommend this tour !

Dino, our driver cum guide was fun, smart and above all an excellent and safe driver.
We had the most delicious noodle soup at a eatery in Yong Pen. She gave us excellent recommendations about places to eat and see . We were given the flexibility of choosing the places which we wanted to see and nothing was rushed.

Pearl from MST was very prompt with her replies and assistance in organising the trip. We were given all the flexibility in choosing the places we wanted to see. We did take up on her recommendations and it was the best thing we did.

Would recommend MST and Dino to anyone planning to take a day trip from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur.

It was a really nice organized tour! Our guide tour could tell us a lot about the local food and provided us with enough food! Also the diet wishes were taken into account very carefully :)

Well I am just gonna copy paste the message I left them, with my thoughts at the end

    Hi Jasmine,

I just wanted to write you a note to let you know that I really enjoyed the tour last evening. It was well thought out and organised. I noticed you and Stanley always had one person in the front and one in the back for safety. I think it was great fun and I asked my sisters to go too and they said they were too scared! I really appreciate the thought that went into explaining the aggression of the Japanese in Asia and eventually Malaya and the fall of Singapore what happened after that until the split from Malaysia and our unwanted declaration of independence. I hope the teenagers now could hear that too, and this platform could be great for that. I think this tour was very well organised and just great fun. Thank you and good luck to you (Jasmine) and Stanley!

    end

As a Singaporean I have been on some tours in my schooling days but this taught me quite a bit. My favourite bit was the guides explaining the heroics of our defenders on Bukit Chandu let by our by one of our own, Lieutenant Adnan Saidi and what happened on the Japanese occupation to our people. It is a very good journey through history from the beginning of the Japanese aggression in China to the invasion of Malaya and the fall of Singapore to our independence. And through out this was filled with creepy stories linked to that history. I would highly recommend this to upper secondary, poly, jc and ite students to check it out. It is informative, fun and safe yet thrilling.

We absolutely loved the Night out in Chinatown tour it was a lot of fun and the dinner was divine.

I can't speak highly enough of our guide James, he was friendly, informative, perfectly fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin I believe) and able to communicate well to us on this night out.

    Thank you I Asia Singapore
Thank you to the Tri-shaw rider who hauled our larger sized westerner butts up that hill!...he was so great!
And most of all Thank you James for a fantastic night, we will be back and we will be asking for James again.

Our guide was Ace in name and the delivery was Ace. We knew a bit but not a lot. Now we know a lot after being taken intelligently to all the key sites. We were a 4, meeting up after 2and a half years of Covid.
Ace knew his audience and delivered information tailored to us. It was interspersed with detail gained from Aces many contacts with ex service men and his own grandparents experience of occupation but balanced by an understanding of Japan.
    Brilliant tour. Thank you.

A chose The Big Bus tour as I could pick it up from outside of my hotel, it was very hot whilst I was in Singapore and I didn't want to have to walk to far to find the bus stop. The two tours where great and gave me a good view of both the old and new towns with the ability to hop on and off where I wanted to.
I bought a one day ticket from the driver on the bus, they only take cash, not cards so make sure you have cash with you. Keep your ticket safe as you need to show it each time you get back on.
When you first get onto the bus you are given headphones which you can plug in and you get a commentary of where you are and what you are seeing. The jazz music played in between was a bit repetitive.
The drivers where all very helpful and shouted out stops just in case you where listening to the commentary.
Everywhere I go in the world if they have a hop on/off bus I will always use it, I think it is a fantastic and cost effective way to get round where you are visiting

Gee Soo, you are a credit to Hello Singapore Tours.
Your enthusiasm and knowledge made for an awesome experience and we thank you.
Right from the moment we met you until the time we said goodbye, we had a great time.
The humidity was tough but that wasn't your fault.
I highly recommend a Gee Soo tour to anyone who wants to know about Singapore.
