Great way to view and learn about the fighters. As an English speaker, I had to use the handset which was fine, but I felt like we missed out on some of what was being said. Felt like I was viewing a secret museum underground - very creative. We moved from room to room learning about a group of fighters and hearing their story. A soldier told us a little bit about the museum before we started - later I heard another speak to her group and wish I had heard her first because she gave more information.

We visited the Ilana Goor Museum in May 2022. The museum is in a building that also contains the artist’s residence. Ms. Goor is a prolific artist and the museum is packed with her fabulous work. The museum shop has dozens of religious and non-religious items for sale. Don’t miss it!

This is the personal house of Ben-Gurion in Tel Aviv and it is now a museum. It is interesting to see inside as it seems he lived inside a library and all of his books are still there. Price is free, staff are friendly and helpful. There is not much information about Ben-Gurion or the house.

Fun thing to see as you are winding through the Old city of Jaffa and the port area. There is a placque on the wall nearby telling the history of it.

I am interested in the history of Israel and particularly the early years of the state, but even if that's "not your thing" this is a fascinating place for a taster of how Israel came into being. The Haganah Museum tells of the Jewish residents and how they developed a system of defence - the organisation which evolved into the Haganah (Hebrew for "defence") and which subsequently became the Israel Defence Force.

The exhibition includes a display of recruitment posters on the ground floor and then a series of tableaus, photos and displays on the other floors. I found the models especially appealing and a lot of work has gone into creating them. At one point, you actually walk under a model of a watch-tower used in the "Tower and Stockade" settlements. There are also items of memorabilia from the time and for British visitors one of the most intriguing was the display on Orde Wingate.

The captions are in Hebrew and English. In the foyer, are books for sale though most of these are in Hebrew. The day I went there was a lovely lady on the reception desk who let me have a lot of information and leaflets on the museum, as well as a book to explain the history to children.

I would recommend at least 1-2 hours here and possibly more if you have a good knowledge of Hebrew.

The clever, cut out silhouettes in an array of bright colours delight the eye in this pretty gallery, set in the very heart of Old Jaffa. There are sculptures large and small, some simple and others, highly intricate. Interesting and worth a visit.

Great tour, full of hidden gems and great food! We were not very familiar with Shuk HaCarmel prior to the tour and were happy to learn about its history.

Assaf organized a complicated trip for our three generation family of 14. We were in Israel for a ceremony at Yad Vashem and a ten day tour of Israel. For most of our group, it was a first trip to Israel. Assaf planned the perfect trip for them to understand the complex history, geography, religion, and politics of this region. He worked with me to identify the most appropriate places to visit. He provided excellent guides--Ben throughout Israel, and Nor in Bethlehem. Both of these guides were extremely knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. We had an excellent driver, Mohamed, who drove us safely and professionally throughout the trip. We dealt with some significant personal issues during the trip At all times, Assaf was readily available to arrange additional transportation, and logistical support. He was in touch with his team at all times, and provided excellent and caring help. We have travelled extensively throughout the world with our family over many years. Assaf and his team provided us the best support we have ever experienced. We are thankful to him, Ben, Nor, and Mohamed for all their efforts to make this trip especially meaningful. Take his advice when planning your trip. It will be the trip of a lifetime.

If you are looking for special crafted massage - it's here. My therapist made me a movement check, asked what kind of activity do i do, and based on this - adapted techniques. I drive a lot and play tennis. so he worked adaptive to my one sided tennis activity.
