Fantastic experience and amazing history. A wonderful view and a very interesting place to spend time. The hand print at the top is something you just need to do!

The architecture of theatre is fantastic. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The artists of theatre are great professional. But there is something wrong with dress code.

This beautiful museum is impressive from the outside and even more so from the moment you enter the main hall with the seven-story-high ceiling with the gigantic gold eagle above. The museum’s displays and exhibits are beautifully done and mostly well described in three languages: Kazak, Russian, and English. It is very nice to have a guide but not essential. As of May 2023, audio guides have not yet been reintroduced due to COVID restrictions but I wouldn’t be surprised if those rules are relaxed in the near future. Set aside at least 2 hours to visit this huge museum. It is well laid out and the various halls have surprises that will delight the curious.

Visited once in the Fall, I liked a small park that was all colored into yellow in front of mosque. The view I got in front of me was trees with millions of yellow leaves along the avenue that lead this beautiful mosque, which meet the clean blue sky on top. This picturesque view make this trip special. I still see when I close my eyes

Nice place can easily reach by taxi . Beautiful building especially at night. Major brand are there. Freewifi.
However despite being a big mall doesn't any currency exchange but do have some ATM machines in ground floor. Not easy to operate because of the language. Other then information desk no one speak English.
If you need to exchange currency then have to go to near by cash market its about 25 -30 minutes walk.

Google will show banks in and near Khan shatry but they all were closed year back so there are no more there.

We took the elevator to the top floor. From the globe, we had views of the city through the glass walls on the higher floors. We used the stairs to explore the lower floors.

The main theme was energy, but there were also various other themes. Several, partly interactive, exhibits demonstrated the workings of the solar system, windmills, wind, and much more.

On the 4th floor, we enjoyed a drink to give our feet some rest.

The museum turned out to be much more interesting than we had anticipated, and we spent significantly more time there than initially estimated.

Not just for fitness. The flower gardens and maze-like sidewalks are very nice for escaping the doldrums of the city. This open air park is beautiful in its expanse and placement just outside of the downtown area. If you need to get out and run, this is the best location in Nur-Sultan. One of the best fitness related parks I have been to.

Because the mosque is close to Nurzhol Boulevard (with the Bayterek Tower), a visit is easy to plan.
The white mosque with the large golden dome is beautiful to see.
Inside the mosque, there was a large hall with an intricately decorated dome above. The mosque was easily accessible.

To be honest i didn't know i had the option to enter this impressive building. Surely is a must visit since it's very close to other important landmarks of the city. I would advice to approach it through the main road although walking in the park is also good. But during a hot day the path from within the park tends to take you left and right making it more difficult.

We took a bus on a Sunday to this cathedral. From the outside, it's a beautiful building, a bit challenging to capture in photos due to roads and parked cars.

Inside, the cathedral is absolutely stunning, adorned with intricate decorations and paintings wherever you look.

Churchgoers were coming in and out during a service. There were (virtually) no chairs, except for those with limited mobility who were provided with seating. Others stood while listening. A headscarf for women was customary, but not all female worshipers wore one.
