A great one day tour to cover all of Kathmandu UNESCO sites. Yes it is pretty long but the pace and timing is very manageable. The tour will give you an extensive background not only about the sites but also about Kathmandu area & Nepal. Worth the whole day spend around the valley and recommended if you have only limited number of days in Kathmandu.

Our guide, Sarita, whom we have spent the day before visiting Chandragiri with, is very understanding and flexible in adapting to our needs and limitation. We recommend her highly should you join any of the tour by this provider. We ended up requesting her service through out our visit in Kathmandu.

Guide Dipesh and Driver Luxman were great. Dipesh was a lot of fun and full of knowledge. I learned so much in 6 hrs with him about Nepalese culture and way of life.

My guide took me to several street eateries and a small restaurant. I enjoyed tasting all the different foods of Nepalese and Indian origin, most were very tasty. Fahid spoke English well and gave information about the ingredients. He provided me with bottled water and tissues for hand wiping. I asked for the names of all the foods to be sent to me and he did. I encourage the company to provide guests with a sheet giving the name and description of the foods tasted on the tour or to email them that information.

The agency had recommended and helped me to get a good deal on this trip. I had a wonderful time with my family in Pokhara. we went to many places like Mahendra cave, white stupa, SarangKot, Shiva Temple, and so on. we also went to many small cafes and the best restaurants serving real Nepali food in the lakeside area. Pokhara is comparable to Nepal's heart. where my family and I get to enjoy stunning sunsets from Saragkot. Along with my family, I went boating and we went to the temple that is located in the Phewa Lake. We also visited the recently constructed Shiva Mandir, which offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and a panoramic view of Pokhara City, the Phewa Lake Mountains, and the Himalayas in one seamless image.

I had initially planned to stay in Kathmandu for 4 days and was planning to go do the jungle tour that is a little away from Kathmandu. Well, as we all know that plans change last minute and so we ended up staying in Kathmandu for 6 nights. I must tell you that I was so lucky to have booked this tour UNESCO Heritage site tour because this tour was organized by an amazing company Himalayan Planet Adventures P. Ltd. So going back to this tour, it is a long day, but if you plan to be in Kathmandu for short period of time and cover all the historical sites, I highly recommend it. Otherwise, you could divide it into two days which this company offers. Anyhow, after this tour, I would contact the co-founder of this company and he has the patience of an angel. I would describe what I like to do and he would recommend and advise me on a good trip. So all 5 to 6 days, I was in communication with him and he made my stay in Kathmandu very fulfilled. I did all the sightseeing, the sunrise hike (was not able to see mt. Everest - the weather was too foggy), and Chiandrigiri Hike. This advisor has a sincere love for his country, he trains these advisors with hospitality skills. I am planning to come back to Nepal soon since I only got to see Kathmandu. When I do come back, I will definitely contact this company directly instead of through Viator. I would like to do their 14 days Everest base camp trekking and just tour around Nepal. I would like to especially thank Shanti whose smile and laughter were contagious. I would make jokes and after spending two to three days, we would joke around like we were good friends. I can still hear her laughter in my ears. I would like a shout-out to Shishir, with whom we did the Chiandrigiri long-day hike along with two stray dogs I fell in love with. Shishir is like a peaceful warrior. After 3 or 4 dys of tours, I wanted to go hike in a peaceful mental state and Shishir would offer to take photos, but never interrupted my zen. His presence felt so natural to me and I appreciated his beautiful big smile. I cannot wait to go mountain trekking with him in near future. Last but not least, Nabaraj, organized my daily trip and even offered to organize my Bhutan trip which I should have asked him because the company I worked with in Bhutan was not as half as good as Nabaraj. He even made time to have a coffee and was such a personable gentleman. He sincerely wishes the best for Nepal and I really support his vision. I highly highly recommend going through this tour company. I have never done any tours before this trip with India Nepal and Bhutan, but because of the experience I gained from this company, I shall seek out tours in future in everywhere I go.

I did this tour alone and still felt very comfortable. The hotels were all nice (with very good food). The busses are really comfortable too. Everything was well organized. You didn't feel alone. I saw many different facets of Nepal: Kathmandu, with a lot of culture; the mountains in Pokhara and the jungle in Chitwan. You experience so much. I can only recommend this tour to everyone and would do it again at any time. Everywhere you are treated hospitably. The guides and Mani were able to answer every question I had. It's a really great program.

Himalayan Scenery's Full Day Luxury Kathmandu Tour with Nisha offered a tranquil haven. She led us through serene monasteries bathed in golden light, their chanting monks weaving a tapestry of peace. We meditated in fragrant gardens, finding solace in the rhythmic chirping of unseen birds. Nisha wasn't just a guide, she was a conduit to inner peace, reminding us that amidst the chaos, serenity awaits. This tour wasn't a sightseeing marathon, it was a journey inwards, leaving us rejuvenated and connected to the city's spiritual essence.

My dad and I did the Annapurna Circuit Trek (16 days) with Discovery and it was a great experience. I had done the EBC trek with them 2 years ago and decided to go with the same guide Siddhanta, as I enjoyed the trek with him before.
My dad and I enjoyed the AC trek very much even though we had to finish slightly earlier than planned because of food poisoning. We went up to Tilicho Lake (4900m) which was challenging and rewarding once we were at the top!

We had a great team with Siddhanta and Himnath our porter, they were attentive, supportive, friendly and quite flexible. It made a big difference in how we enjoyed the experience. We would definitely do another trek with them if/when we come back to Nepal!
Paul was also very reactive when we were in high altitude to ensure we focus on safety first, which we appreciated very much.

We booked through Gokyo Treks Nepal for a 3 day visit to Kathmandu. Our guide was Ammar and he took us on a wonderful tour of the city.

We began the tour with a shuttle to the airport where Ammar introduced himself, gave us the itinerary for the tour, and allowed us to settle in. The next day we went on a mountain flight to see Everest, then went on a tour of Kathmandu to multiple religious and historical sights. And on the final day we took a jeep up into the mountains for a hike.

The tour was fantastic and a great way to get around the city, see the sights, and experience the culture. In the future we hope to do a true trek with Ammar and the Gokyo Treks team!

Ammar was amazing, friendly, and we would absolutely book through him again!

The Gokyo Lake and EBC trek was unreal! The views were incredible and I enjoyed every second. My guide Parkhidhan Tamang and my porter Dawa Tamang were amazing! They attended to my every need, were so helpful every second, and were an absolute blast to trek with. They are so full with knowledge I felt very safe with them. Thank you so much for an absolutely incredible adventure! Can’t wait to see you both again!

Himalayan Adventure Treks is truly an amazing company, and you will be a fool to not book any type of tour with them. They can customize any type of trip you are looking for in Nepal, from trekking, to cultural tours like the one we took, adventure activities, or a mix of everything in between. From the very beginning of booking, Bhagwat was there patiently answering all us four women's numerous questions and requests. And in the end, he customized our perfect Nepal trip. Not only that, but Bhagwat is kind, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. His suggestions and recommendations for our trip were invaluable and allowed us to see as much of Nepal as we possibly could.

As for our amazing two week tour, we had the pleasure of having Badri Karki as our guide and Krishna as our driver. After two weeks together, Badri and Krishna really both felt like family, and we had the honor to get to meet some of both their families along our journey. Meeting Badri's family and being invited into their home was definitely a great privilege and one of the greatest highlights of our trip; one that we will never forget.

Badri is an amazing guide, who not only operates cultural tours like the one we took, but also has climbed Everest over 80 times, and has motorbiking tours in Nepal to India and back. He has tons of knowledge, great stories to tell about Nepal and his adventures, and a wonderful outlook on life. Badri was beyond accommodating of every one of our requests and above all else, was always smiling and very patient with us. Without him, there is no way we could of had the amazing 2 weeks we did in Nepal.

And last but definitely not least, Krishna was also an absolute delight and a joy to be around. He is very kind and was always incredibly considerate of all of us (and all our 8 bags, which he had to move many many times). Krishna is really the best driver one could ask for, especially on Nepalese roads with its traffic, geography, and weather. Krishna always had a smile on his face, never used his horn, and made us feel safe.

As you can tell, I can't say enough about how thoughtful and amazing Himalaya Adventure Treks is. I promise you will not regret booking your Nepal adventure with them!
