What travellers are saying
- Are IForde, Norway7 contributionsFinding a place that lets you browse the goods at peace and gives good and honest input when requested is a true joy: this place is like that and moreover, there is no haggling and yes, the prices are not the cheapest but the products are good quality (and actual cashmere). I purchased several scarves and shawls and give my warmest recommendation to the shop (great variety on offer!) and the owner. 10/10.Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Madeleine S1 contributionIf you want to buy beautiful crafts and at the same time help women express their art and find a way to make a living, this is the place for you !Written 2 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bob S2 contributionsStopped in on May 27 and stayed about 1 1/2 hours looking at knives and discussing the differences. Ended up buying 3 knives. Learned a lot about the knives and their history. Never felt any pressure to buy anything. Highly recommend you stop in to see their wares.Written 3 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Michel1 contributionMarvelous collection of shawls, scarfs and stoles. I must say they have a wonderful variety in both stock and prices. It is the best store to buy authentic pashmina at a very reasonable price. I bought a shawl for my mother from here and trust me they have an amazing collection. - Jasmin D35 contributionsEasy to find. It was the second shop I’ve been. I didn’t liked the material in the other one (high rated here in TA) so I decided to give this one a shot. Everybody was very nice and the shawls had all beautiful colour and the material was good. I left the shop with 3 shawls but wanted to buy a lot more!Written 6 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Greg WPleasant Grove, UT47 contributionsFirst, the Manager was excellent. He started with a great tour of the entire property, then continued to check in on us, make great suggestions on what to do, where to go, what to eat, and always had a kind word and helpful tip. His staff was kind, helpful and eager to please. They were all really good solid people who cared about us and the Baber Mahal.
The waiters and servers were fun and patient with us. I have rarely enjoyed staying at a hotel as much as I did the Baber Mahal. The entire place was completely clean, the rooms were very large and comfortable, but the people made all the difference. I've stayed in wonderful 5 star hotels all over the world but I've never been treated like a 5 star as I was here.
thank you!Written 11 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Jeanne A5 contributionsI was so happy with my experience with Patasi : the people who welcome me were so kind and attentive to what I was looking for, I had choices in terms of design, and i was also able to do on-measures items choosing the model and colour : definitely recommend you to go there ! Thank you Ayush !Written 5 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Robert LaskowskiWarsaw, Poland12 contributionsOwner was very relaxed and was not pushy. He explained everything about the different products. His products were reasonably priced. I said my wife and I would discuss and come back, and he accepted without being rude. We spoke outside and both agreed we were happy with his business style and product quality.Written 25 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

The best quality of musical instrument at one place
This Nepalese frame drum is made of iguana /
skin stretched across a carved wooden shell. Large ones, like the one on display, are often used in the accompaniment of dances known as chudka and kauda, which are performed by members of the Magar, Gurung, and other indigenous communities in Mid-Western Nepal during social activities. Smaller khaijadi drums are used by members of other ethnic groups, like Brahmin and Chhetri, in devotional music known as bhajan. In other parts of Nepal, India, and Pakistan, frame drums (such as the khanjari, kanjira, and damphu) are also used in devotional music traditions. The names of these drums are often interchanged, although they are used in many different musical traditions.Written 18 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Noel M1 contributionWas hoping though for a reply from their suggested Sales email address, I am still happy that my call was entertained by their office courteously. I love the quality of their 5" inch kukris that they quickly delivered to the Philippines. Will surely order bigger blades.Written 22 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bananatree2015Bangkok, Thailand4 contributionsBoth Times I've bought gear at Shonas my experience was awesome. I'm sure the staff are tired of bring bombarded with lame questions by pushy westerners. It's simple - grab your balls, chose your gear and put money on the table. Leave. There are bigger fish to fry.Written 15 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
