Unfortunately due to my travel schedule I was not able to see it early or around the sunset, evening as it is recommend. The entrance fee is again steep, 1000 NPR, at least for the high price you get a large ticket (A4 format). It is hard to sneak in without paying. Heavily guarded by Police. Despite the high fee non Hindu people can not entry the main temple. Pashupatinath is an important Hindu site and temple. All day through you can see the ceremony and cremation, mainly from the platform or terraces across the Bagmati River to the east. Towards to Gorakhnath Temple and Lingam Shrines you can come across monkeys
Inner Temple Courtyard: 4:00 AM - 7:00 PM
The site is close to Kathmandu runway and KTM airport. You can take a local bus if you have enough time and know which one to take, taxi about 500-600 NPR.From Thamel I took motor bike taxi arrange by my hostel for 140 NPR, to get back just look for motor bike drivers with a hold for the mobile, most likely this is the motorbike taxi.
