Fantastic experience! Andrew is an amazing guide. He showed me typical locations for bar hopping in the City and in Katutura and introduced me to wonderful people who shared a ton of interesting information about Namibia, its history and its people. I would highly recommend it!

Andrew, my guide for the solo Katutura township tour, was exceptional. His deep knowledge, passion, and genuine connection to the community made the experience truly unforgettable. Andrew's storytelling brought the history and culture of Katutura to life, while his empathy and respect for the residents ensured meaningful interactions throughout the tour. Overall, Andrew's guidance elevated the tour, leaving a lasting impression and making it a journey of genuine discovery. Highly recommended.

This wilderness safari had it all. Stunning landscapes, great animal viewing and a fascinating cultural experience. It met all my expectations of a typical wilderness adventure.

The experienced tour guide was quite knowledgeable and gave an enriching overview of the city of Windhoek. Got to see the Parliament Gardens, the National Museum, the Nande Cultural Township and some more landmarks of Windhoek city. Nice to see so much within the cultural diversity and heritage of Namibia.

My wife and I had the unique privilege of going on Uakii Wilderness Safaris's cultural experience in Gobabis, Namibia 🇳🇦 in July this year. We did the San, Damara, Herero and baTswana cultural experience. Absolutely mind-blowing!! The most authentic cultural immersion we ever had. What was most touching is the genuine connection Peter-Hain has with and affection for all these communities. You can see their palpable excitement when they see him. He's like their son. Because he brings real financial and upliftment benefits to them. This is fair trade tourism in action. We felt so privileged to be a part, in a small way, of what he does so passionately every day. He is a real difference-maker. I unreservedly recommend this experience.

Even during the difficult situation of COVID-19, the tour was well operated. The tour guide was kind enough to show me around. Especially in this time, I was impressed to see that he brought his own sanitizer and sanitized his hands regularly. He was mostly representing my preference on my request. Thank you.

If you're interested in Namibia, I give my highest recommendation to Wild Wind Safaris. I've been to Africa a number of times, and this was the easiest to setup, most enjoyable to experience, and best opportunity for pictures.

When I initially shopped around on the internet for a tour provider, I found Wild Wind Safaris among the best in price and most responsive to questions. I interacted a lot with Philip, who probably spent tons of time answering all my questions and seeing what he could do to help tailor the trip to what I need. He gave me so much detail that I felt prepared for a great trip. The thoughtfulness and thoroughness made it easy for me to trust his organization. Payment was easy via credit card, and reservations and extras were done effortlessly. Pre-trip was excellent.

The tour was better than perfect. First, everything that was advertised in the program was followed, so I know I didn't miss a thing. I'm not sure if my guide is an animal magnet or what, but I often got to see up close ostriches, horses, oryx, rhinos, flamingos, seals, and even Pumba among others! The accommodations were all either unique or luxurious. Most importantly, they were all clean and cozy. The vehicle was comfortable (felt like a new car) and secure for all our belongings. The selected restaurants had delicious food and drink; sometimes, I forgot I was on safari or visiting a desert.

Our guide Rolencia is among the best I've ever had. She made it clear she wanted my mother and I to really enjoy our trip in Namibia. She was always pointing out things we didn't know and made sure we were taken care of during meals and lodging accommodations. Whenever there was WiFi to be had, she would get the code from the restaurant or accommodations without us even asking, so we stayed connected to share pictures back home. She helped us borrow power adapters when we brought the wrong ones. She helped my mother with her baggage. She accompanied and gave her a mini-desert tour while I climbed the tall sand dunes that my mother would rather not do personally. She stopped the vehicle, every time we wanted to take a picture of something or when she knew we would want a picture of something. Rolencia was more like a family friend traveling with us on our adventure than a guide. She made us feel close to Namibia, and she even took pictures for us so we have proof.

You can't go wrong with Wild Wind Safaris. They're completely trustworthy. The prices are very reasonable (and I did shop around). We felt safe. We were taken care of. We came; we saw; and we had a good time. I recommend Wild Wind Safaris because you will have a good time, too.

Unfortunatelly, 10 minutes prior to the departure I got a message that the Tour could not happen due to the weatherconditions.
So far I did not get any refund.
    Cannot recomend this.
