- Wander0854016047714 contributionsWurth a visit. Choice of Craft Beer on tap with a good food menu to back it up. We tried the pulled pork burger with nicely cooked chips and coleslawWritten 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WindsorNinjaWindsor, UK4 contributionsWhat a fantastic way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Three couples so six of us and we all had the Tasting Menu of six beers which were all varied but all excellent and crazy value. After that we rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into whichever beer was our favourite - the stout was a particular favourite amongst us! The three brewers behind the bar were great fun and happy to share their knowledge of how the beers were brewed. We all left there a little wobbly with T-shirts having had a great afternoon and early evening. Thanks so much Black Eagle we will be back!!!Written 16 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Carolina LCape Town, South Africa189 contributionsI stumbled upon this enchanting wine estate, enjoyed a delicious Riesling with an equally yummy flatbread. The views are delightful and the air is clean! I got a friendly welcome as well!
There were a few friendly dogs roaming around minding their own business - cute!Written 14 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Service : I felt very looked after, service was great
Food : had the German platter for 2, it was ok, didn’t wow me, the portion for the sides was really small, lots of bread with little to dress it with - the sausages lacked juiciness.Written 19 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Good variety of beer options and value for money with the gift of sample beer to take home.

Unsure of what to expect as we walked in, we were welcomed immediately and given a quick run down. Overall, a great experience - beers, burgers and everything in between!Written 3 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were a big group of about 20, but service was quick and efficient. Everyone seemed very happy with their meal, Superfood Salad was superb and others raved about the Chicken Taco's.
Accoustics not great so when it is very busy it is incredibly noisy. Otherwise great for good food and beers.Written 22 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The biggest problem is deciding which beer to have. So glad I opted for the Strawberry Blond it was delicious.Written 9 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mariaan1969Roodepoort, South Africa356 contributionsWe went through on a Sunday when it was a lot quieter. We had amazing service and sat outside on the newer deck at the Tap Room. We did the beer tasting and met a lot of very friendly local people and tourists. A pity it is not dog friendly.Written 6 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Here in Cape Town we experience a booming craft-beer 🍻 revolution with many bars around the city stocking some of the country’s best craft beers that range from garage-set up brewery concoctions to full-on production line creations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Woodstock Brewery is considered as one of the best craft beers in the Cape. It's situated in the heart ♥️ of a vibrant suburb sharing the same name, with trendy art galleries, organic restaurants mixed with a local laid back flair. 🤘The brewery gives visitors good insight into the brewing process and access to up to 10 different brews. 😱 Our purveyor of this golden nectar was super entertaining, so knowledgeable and passionate. Very persuasive into "forcing" us to taste so many beers. 😉😂 He even performed a magic trick pouring a filtered and unfiltered beer from the same bottleWritten 23 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is very small and can easily be missed, but definitely worth a visit. They have indoor and outdoor seating options and a nice selection of beers including ales, weisbeers, pilsners and stouts. The brewery's art style is very industrial and edgy, with the same style found in the design of their labels which I really liked. We decided to do a tasting and everyone in the group found a beer they enjoyed. It is also good to note that the staff were friendly and helpful which is always the cherry on top.Written 28 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
