Snorkeling wasn't the best we've had, but was a fun activity. She accommodated any changes we wanted to make to the schedule and took us to many interesting places on the island including the rum distillery , tea factory, waterfalls, botanical garden and last but not least, the beautiful beaches with stunning rocks. We requested a lunch overlooking the beach and she had no problem taking us to perfect restaurant and bar. Totally worth the cost- superb service, personal attention, great meal for lunch and you get to see best of La digue + free roaming turtoise. Hensley crafted a tour which met all of my interests and provided a narrative rich in local history and cultural insights which made the tour very special. - gerbilsontourLondon, UK345 contributionsSo pleased we found this tour with MC Seychelles. we wanted a private tour to Curieuse Island so that we could view the tortoises, do the walk and enjoy snorkelling at our own pace vs with others, and we weren't fussed for a beach BBQ.
This 4 hour trip was perfect. A high quality boat and experienced staff. We too our own snorkelling gear (not sure if there was an option to borrow/hire). Sadly it was too rough at St Pierre but we had a lovely snorkelling on Curieuse.
The tortoises are huge and very used to people. We did the walk over the island to the doctors house beach and the boat picked us up. Welcome water and fruit on the way back. There is a shower and toilet at the marine for changing when you get back.
MC Seychelles organised a pick up at our hotel at 8.30 over to the marina with a 1.5 hour stop at the UNESCO Valle de Mai NP to walk through the coco de mare forest before drop off back at our hotel at 3.00. Excellent.

- Francis M1 contributionFirst off, the views? Legendary. I mean, picture seeing postcard islands, open sea, fish, coral, and other sea creatures all at once. I was overwhelmed with bliss. I half expected Aqua man to pop up.. Haaha! The staff? Knowledgeable and friendly; these guys knew their fishy business. The sub-marine itself? Clean and comfortable. So, yeah, I highly recommend this semi-submarine tour. - Lisa G1 contributionIt was great! The guys had such a great vibe and that made it our highlight on Praslin. The snorkelling was really great and we saw a lot. Being so close to the turtles was impressive and the BBQ was really great. I would have liked a bit more variety in the BBQ. I read that you can also barbecue breadfruit. It would have been nice to have this experience. They fetched us at the cruise terminal and safely delivered us to the airport after the tour.
The guide (Sheena) was very knowledgeable of the local environment without drowning us in unnecessary facts.
As we had a lot of luggage with us we upgraded to a minibus van and it was well worth the extra cost.
A wide variety of locations were visited from the market to view sites and stunning beaches.
Some of the venues visited required an entrance fee that we needed to pay. One of the locations did not accept a credit card but required payment in rupees. Fortunately, Sheena was able to pay for us and we refunded her. The worst part is that the pick up service never showed up! We were very worried that we would miss the last ferry to Mahe to catch an international flight. So we had to call a taxi at the last minute, and almost missed our last ferry of the day. When we asked for refund, since we did not use the service and the pick up did not show up, they refused to give us the refund and told a series of lies to us. Do not use their pick up service. - ayesha j2 contributionsThe day trip was nice, however there are only 3 negatives:
1- Too much time spent talking about the coco de mer
2- When we arrived to la digue and was dropped off for lunch, the tour guide guide with the previous group and we were left stranded at the restaurant for 30 minutes in the sun. The tour guide should have stayed with the last group of people and made sure everyone was transported to the next point of interest.
