When I tell you that as soon as you step foot on the key you are treated like royalty. Luis our waiter was amazing and super helpful. He would not even let us get our own drinks. Oscar the bartender really was a pleasure to speak with, super friendly. Great hospitality!! I would recommend this excursion to anyone that visits the island.

You can vacay in Roatan w/o leaving West Bay Beach (WBB) and be fully satisfied. However, it would be a mistake not to experience other parts of the island. The waters of WBB are some of the clearest I have ever seen, so much so that at night with a flashlight you can see stingrays hunting for their meal. The ability to snorkel at the beach is an added benefit that is not easily replicated.

My Tour guide was August. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the park and the island. I would do this tour again as long as August is the guide. The macaws and monkeys were great. They love taking pictures. This is a great family spot.

We had a fabulous time on this private island. If you like to swim, snorkel or relax, this is the place for you.

    Good to know:
-Bring a ton of sunscreen! I think we went through a whole bottle for a family of 3.
-Bring cash or a credit card. They have food and drinks to buy. You can also rent a locker, floats and snorkel gear.
-If you have your own snorkel gear, then bring it. There is a beautiful coral reef at the end of the pier that you can snorkel off of. There is a lifeguard on duty.
-Bring an underwater camera to take pictures of beautiful fish.
-The port is clean with some shops. We felt completely safe.
    -Bathrooms are clean and available.
-Save your money and skip the chair lift rental. It's a short walk to the beach.
-There are several chairs in the shade. If you find one, you won't have to rent a chair cover.

One of the better cruise tours I’ve done. Place is not crowded, very spacious. Staff is very nice and they work hard to keep the place clean.

We had so much fun spending time with the animals at Manawakie! We loved the monkey enclosure - they were so curious and playful. We learned a lot about Roatan and the wonderful animals at the park. The guides were able to answer all the questions we had about the island and the animals. The pictures (additional cost) taken were provided the same day as our visit.

Less touristy and busy than other beaches. Not super big and the water is a little cloudier for snorkeling. Some nice souvenir shops nearby (road is busy and narrow, so it's a little stressful with younger kids). There is a fun boat to jump off with a rock wall...we asked our water taxi to stop by it rather than swim all the way out there because there are a lot of boats coming and going.

Beautiful and tranquil. Another review referred to it as almost therapeutic and we would certainly agree with this. It is a bit pricey though, especially for a family. The website says $10 USD entrance fee but it was $15 USD when we arrived. We were told the price has been $15 since before COVID. Would be nice if they took a moment to update that... If you are interested in the local flora and learning about it, I do recommend a visit.

This is the best spot in West Bay for view and snorkeling. It's at the quieter end of the bay with an unhindered view. Less people , less noise. There is a clear path directly In front of you for snorkeling to the incredible reef. Many activities offered nearby for very low cost. 10$ a day for snorkel equipment. Beach chairs all day for 10$ and they have security that watches your stuff. Chairs have options of shade or sun. Very safe to leave items and go for a walk , snorkeling etc. There is also a restaurant that offers food and beverages on site, only downfall is it's only open Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Water is a gorgeous turquoise color and warm. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience, what was really cool is you got to pet the dolphins and get to see them up close. For any American tourist fear not they do two groups. One where the dolphin trainer talks in English and one Spanish group. Also during the dolphin experience you’ll be able to go get your phone and take pictures. I will have to say this was one of the funnest activities I did on the island and was something that I think every family should do, the staff were very polite and also explained a-lot about the dolphins. I would do this again and definitely think it’s worth going too. The dolphins are very sweet and they even do tricks while your in the water.

There are quite a few places to visit on the island that have zip lining, sloths, monkeys, and macaws, but what sets this place apart is the people! Our zip line guides were fun and allowed us to try zipping upside down and starting via somersault, all while keeping our safety in mind. They were very patient with people who hesitant and scared. Our animal guide was a different staff member and he was very knowledgeable about the about the animals. He carefully handled each one and made sure we followed the same rules to keep us (and the animals) safe. We highly recommend this place!!

Over all I would say this is the best activity to do while on the island. I loved getting to hold the sloth and seeing the monkeys and birds. I would say 100% it’s worth it to go and experience and see. The staff were very kind and I loved this experience. There is also a-little gift shop where after your experience you can buy little souvenirs. The sloths are very nice and are easy to hold. I would say with the monkeys be careful with little kids. It’s still safe but remind them to careful with their fingers. Also the monkeys have a tendency to try and steal stuff so just keep that in mind. Over all though I think this was super fun and is a great place to bring your children or just go and experience by your self.

We came to West End to do some shopping and relax one afternoon after diving. We got local ice cream, some souvenirs, and a great day to sit on the beach that was very busy. There are some cool businesses to visit as well.

Mayan Princess was a nice place with one main draw back, the buffet is not very good, baerly ok, you can get by but now that good. We ate dinner out 5 of 7 nights due to it not being very good. Drinks and staff are great, no lines for drinks. Pool always had places to sit.
Beach was the best beach we have ever been at, no rocks, no seaweed, beautiful

Mayan divers was also very good, took care of and set up equipment every day, sites are fairly close, 15, 20 minutes...

way better place to stay than the more pricey spot down the beach.

Nice and spicey and hangover hut best places to eat, other places are all the same. Thirsty turtle always had a lively feel with music etc. Hangover hut had a nice band also.
