Tantalus Estate Vineyard & Winery
#5 of 28 Food & Drink in Waiheke Island
One of the fantastic wineries to visit on this Island - stopped into Tantalus as part of the Hop-On-Hop off Fullers ferry/bus excursion and on recommendation of our local bus driver.
Enjoyed a wonderful lunch in their new beautiful winery/restaurant building, elevated with views looking out over the vines; lovely soft earthy decor colours.
Peacock Sky Vineyard
#8 of 28 Food & Drink in Waiheke Island
We took a half day trip and drove around a few wineries and this was my favourite.
Connie and her team are amazing hosts and would highly recommend making the visit to this beautiful winery.
Mudbrick Vineyard Oneroa
#9 of 28 Food & Drink in Waiheke Island
Amidst a crowded field of exceptional wineries, it was easy to pick Mudbrick as our runaway #1 choice.
Once you get to the Vineyard, the views are stunning, the wines fantastic, the food delicious, the service A+, and the tour/tasting was the best I've experienced.

Man O' War Vineyards
#10 of 28 Food & Drink in Waiheke Island
Out of the 5 wineries we visited on the island, this was by far our joint favourite; we loved it and would definitely come back again.
Located by the sea on a lovely ocean cove, its wide front porch looking out on the water is perfect for relaxing, enjoying a delicious plate of nibbles, and some of the good wines that this winery puts out.
Wild on Waiheke

There aren't the fabulous views that you get at other wineries in the region but the place has a great vibe and the staff were extremely friendly.
Fabulous winery, lovely atmosphere and great wine, food and service, wish we could have stayed longer.

Had a great visit to Batch Winery when we were staying on Waiheke Island and got a great tour from Felix, followed by a spot of lunch in the restaurant where the food (and the Fizz) was incredible!

This was our favorite of the three wineries we visited on the island.
We thoroughly enjoyed this winery and spent a couple of hours feasting on a lovely platter and tasting our way through their range.
Jurassic Ridge Vineyard Oneroa
#21 of 28 Food & Drink in Waiheke Island
Put Jurassic Ridge at the top of your list of wineries to visit.
Rather uniquely they aim to grow great grapes in the vineyard using sustainable viticulture and the best of organic principles, combined with minimal intervention/additions by the winemaker ie keeping the wine-mak...
Podere Crisci Winery
#24 of 28 Food & Drink in Waiheke Island
Surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, olive and cyprus trees .. just gorgeous.
The winery is a little distance from the ferry terminal, though a pleasant taxi drive just added to the occasion.
