Mount Brown is on the edge of town with easy access The view from the top of the mount is certainly worth the drive up There is a well constructed viewing station which is easy to get to.
It's a pleasant, short drive up from Panmure Rd, and we were rewarded with expansive views of York and the Avon Valley, Mt Bakewell and green fields (very green after the good winter rains this year).
