We really enjoyed doing the hop-on hop-off tour and was relieved that it was only a 10 minute walk from our hotel to where we had to pick up the tickets from one of the Turistik Tours offices.
My sister and I had a 2-day pass that included a one-hour city walk with Eduardo - there were only 3 of us on the walking tour so we had lots of time to ask him questions and learn lots about the history of the bu...

Unlike many tours, he took us past the busy entrance area into a more remote region where we could enjoy the natural beauty and the lovely picnic he arranged.
I loved everything about this trip, from our incredible tour guides: Gabriel and Dani, all the way to having a picnic on the beach of Cajon Del Maipo, complete with massive strawberries, wine, cheese, chips and ch...

Our tour guide Ben, knowledgeable and friendly and accompanied by his very able and responsible driver Felipe, made this mountain adventure a truly unforgetable experience.
My tour guide was excellent at reading the skills and desires of the group and deciding where and what we would hike.

This tour is one of the few tours that offer visit to San Cristobal hill.
Carolos (guide) and Angelica (driver) gave a magnificent 2+ hour tour highlighting the main neighborhoods and important buildings in downtown Santiago.

We always enjoy doing food tours in the various locations we visit as we find them an excellent way to undersgand the community and it people better.
I was a bit worried about booking this due to the most recent review being poor but it was the only one on Saturday Sep 8 that included markets and food so I chose this over the free walking tours.

The guides were great on both tours (Gonzalo and Francisco), with good energy, lots of information about the history of Chile, vegetation, and the area of Cajon del Maipo.
We had one week in Santiago - and this tour was excellent to escape the city half-way through and enjoy a not-too-stressful trek across amazing mountains with incredible views.

After a few days of good food, wine, and bus tours of the area around Santiago a moderately active bike tour of the vineyards around Santa Rita winery was exactly what I needed.
The Santa Rita state is very beautiful and the tour took us to its vineyards, gardens, colonial style buildings and all the wine making facilities.

Note to solo travelers – I found this to be a better option than the larger bus tours, but more affordable than a private driver, which can be pretty steep for just one person.
Andos seems like a bigger travel company, but their tours, by virtue of having smaller groups, allows the tour guides to be more flexible.

Ok a bit of an exaggeration, but the quality of either of the two valley tours is worthy of an entry at the Cannes Film Festival.
Then you move into a charming boutique "cinema" for a virtual-interacive tour to a chilean valley and four vineyards each one hosted by his chief oenologist.
