There are lots of natural history information too at the center plus the live video of the last volcanic eruption in the area, which is absolutely marvelous to behold.

There is a tasting center, and some very interesting and delicious honey varieties...
The items in visitor center are much cheaper than supermarket or handgift shop so I highly suggest you come here to buy souvenir.

this is a fantastic resource for tourists and you will find everything that you need here , there is a shop and there is a great area to sit and relax as well .
This information center is conveniently located with a ton of brochures, onsite staff for questions and recommendations and a gift shop.

We were welcomed by local ambassadors as soon as our ship docked in Wellington, as well as outside the i-SITE Visitor Information Center.
The i-Site Wellington Visitor Information Centre was my favorite Centre as compared to the other i-Site centers such as the Auckland Waterfront Centre.

We walked around the Whanganui town center and also visited the small but excellent local museum.
We met at this tourist information center one of the best advisor we ever met at a tourist info center.

There is a carpark next door, or street parking, a section especially for hiking and Tongariro information, weather notices, tonnes of references and resources, and some souvenirs as well.
The information center provides lots of information, including pamphlets, guides, maps etc on the key attractions around the area.
