We had gone to Cormorant Bay Cafe for lunch, the park area is well set out, with BBQS, Play area for the kids, covered table areas, and lots of grassed areas for the kids to throw a ball..
Picnic tables and chairs are also close by, and we were able to park close to the BBQ area.

The air is beautiful and clean up here and its a nice relaxing day trip out of Brisbane if you enjoy nature and yes, it is much much cooler at the lookout than it is in Brisbane proper.

The car park was full when I walked through (at 10am) but there is street parking further up along Haig Street although you may have to walk a bit back to the park.

The extensive menu is well priced and much appreciated for diversity but Fish and chips seems to be the winner, possibly because of the sublime view outwards to Moreton Bay from the park.
Nudgee beach is a large area with plenty of park space for everyone.

At the front of the park a few steps in from Lytton Road you will find a well kept war monument recognising soldiers form the local area who fought in WW1 and WW2.
Everything is super cool and family friendly, so clean and tidy love walking trough the park smelling fresh air and having a relaxing time there
