Presqu'ile Provincial Park Brighton, Canada
#1 of 2 Nature & Parks in Brighton
We didnt even use the sand beaches as we had so much fun on the rocky beaches- found a ton of amazing fossils, enjoyed 2 days of post-storm wavy surf and 2 days of calm seas; we went to the fantastic Nature Centre...
Visit the excellent interpretive centre at the lighthouse point and learn about the shipwrecks, area history, and visit the gift shop run by the 'Friends of Presqu'ile' to support park conservation.
Dunes Beach Picton, Canada
#3 of 7 Nature & Parks in Picton
North 5 kms of the beach is totally secluded to be enjoyed in tranquility as nature intended ;-) The beach is narrow with lots of private coves in the dunes and between trees.
We parked by a literal children's park and took a shallow stroll around the shore to the biggest sand dunes we'd ever seen.
