- ChrisorhanNew York City, NY56 contributionsBlodveimuseet is apart of Saltdal museum, and the place is really worth a visit. The history of the prisoners of war who built the road and the railway on Saltfjellet in the northern part of Norway is tragic, but important.
The Saltdal museum consists of several old buildings, all telling a part of local and Norwegian history. Very helpful staff/guide. When you are there, you should also try the "mösbrömlefse" a local specialty, soft flat bread with melted sweet goat cheese, sounds weird, but taste lovely.Written 4 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Here you can learn about everything from geology, art, sami culture and the nature in the area. After visiting the center you can easaly go for a walk in the area around the center whit stunning nature.Written 24 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
