The jewel in the crown of Kazan is their beautiful kremlin. Picturesque, great views and just lovely to wander around in as well as see the historical sites. Adored it.

Incredibly interesting interactive museum showcasing all the best from Soviet life and culture. Huge amount of engaging and enjoyable exhibits and items, which can all be touched and tried on.
My personal favourite was trying on all the different Soviet army jackets and hats.
The owner was friendly and made the visit fun and interesting, his passion for Soviet culture really came across.
This museum is a must visit when in Kazan!
    Thank you!

We are from Belarus. Found this place via Internet with very excellent reviews. GalileoPark is located on the 3rd floor of Indigo mall which is not difficult to reach.

The place is full of enginering devices, exgibits and unusual rooms. We spent there two hours and felt special experience. Trully entertaining.

Must see if you are in Nizhny.

We are not normally museum people but this was across the road from the kremlin and close to our hotel.
Its well laid out with great displays and lots of interactive stuff too for kids. Only downside was the lack of english text but it was still enjoyable.

If you enjoy science, illusion, fun and critical thinking for all the family, this is great place to visit. Super friendly, solution-oriented, and energetic staff! The magnetic fields and optical illusions reminded me of Mystery Spot in California. Well worth it for the price.

I visited the Rukavishnikov Mansion on a beautiful sunny spring day. It is situated on a high bank of the Volga River. I took a guided tour. That is when you put on shoe covers and follow a guide telling you a story about each room. It is an interesting chance to see how the rich had lived before the Revolution. You cannot take photos in most of the rooms, however you can in the most spacious Ball-room.

We visited this on our first trip to Samara in Feb 2019. The tour was only available in Russian, but thankfully my wife was able to provide additional translation where I didn't understand. The tour guide is extremely knowledgeable and is more than happy to share more than just the standard tour speech.

It is a very cool place to get an insight into how important Kuybyshev (now Samara) was to the Soviets during the war and to understand why Stalin decided to have the bunker built here. The fact that none of the surrounding embassies/consulates were aware of the structure is quite incredible.

    Highly recommend this attraction.

Very funny and educative museum also for adults but specially for kids. It demonstrates, among other things, in a very entertaining way, the laws of phisics and nature. All devices on display are either real machines donated to the museum or devices designed and built at eh museum by its staff. Such an amazing job is being done there. Also, it is cheap (250 rub).

This lovely public library was a gift of a wealthy Tatar mercenary to his fiancée. Each room is decorated uniquely, with first class materials (during that time). Today, the library still has the remnants of such beauty, very well maintained, and each room still hold its own magic.

    Great to visit

A great place to get familiar with various stuff people had been using in 20th century. Most amazing is that you can touch and play with most of the presented items

We dropped in to the gallery during a visit to Nizhny Novgorod on spec and were very impressed. It houses a good range of original paintings by Russian artists over the ages. It is classified as the 3rd most important gallery in Russia because of the volume and importance of the works held there (after Tretikov and Hermitage). It is not well signposted, so ask where to find it.
