- AltairTripJoinville, SC41 contributionsWhile traveling in Russia, I visited several museums and this one was really good. I heard they calling it "the small Hermiage" as they constantly bring arts from other larger museums to be displayed here.
When I went there they had this Russian Impressionism exhibition, which I really loved. So if you are in town, take a look at the exhibition program and visit this museum. One big plus, I remember alll the signs were translated into English, which was great beacuse it is not very common in Russia.Written 31 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The collection of Western European art is not that impressive though. Exhibition of the famous traditional art of Kirov - Dymkov toys - is absolutely wonderful.Written 15 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was built in 2007 in the Venetian style. In the central part of the building, above the arch, there is a beautiful tower with a unique clock with a moving image of the Mother of God and a donkey.
