This Lodge is simply breathtaking everything is fabulous, the hotel the food as well as the nature which surrounds it, It is expensive but worth every penny.
We had a walk up to the cliff and enjoyed the beautiful nature.

Amazing spot to disconnect with daily stuff and just dive into nature and a fresh spot with amazing falls view.
It is a little bit of a hike up to get to the falls but totally worth it, the water is refreshing and you can safely go for a quick dip before having lunch and making the down hill back to the car park.

It's a lovely stroll, with plenty of country views and wildlife, the only downside being the one part of the walk past the back end of some factory units and the container park.

If you want to visit a HUGE crescent beach w/ crystal clear water for a quiet tramp or a wander, Ocean Beach is the best coastal place in Hawke's Bay to park and walk early AM or late in the day.
it was a scenic drive to get to the beach with a steep road down to car park.
