The walk was great, we were shown a variety of archaeological, historical and cultural sites that helped you understand Ios more. George introduced us to some locals as well to give a bit more depth to what he was showing us.
If you’re thinking of booking this I would 100% recommend it! - Gala8778 contributionsMy husband and I did this activity during our on our stop in Ios. It was one of our all time favorite experiencs during our tour of Greece honeymoon. We were the only ones in the morning and we went with Eleni and her husband Demetri to pick onions, and garlic, and collect eggs from the coop. Demetri was a loveable goofy prankster teasing his wife in greek and goofing around with my husband. Eleni was an amazing guide telling us about the island, their family farm, and the harvest. Then we went and cooked spanikopita (including the filo) from scratch with their family's cheese with Demetri's mother (Eleni's Mother-in-law) as she repeatedly scolded the super market and effortlessly taught us how to cook. It was so much fun and truly a one-of-a-kind experience. After we made the spanikopita, we joined other guests as we toured the cheese museum and then got a tasting of cheese and homemade wine (and then we got to eat our spanikopita and had plenty to take with us on the road!). I cannot recommend this experience enough. Too many highlights to mention but if you do this tour you are in for a treat especially if you are fortunate to have Chantal who is the most warm and friendly host . He had such great knowledge of the Island and gave me the freedom to choose what I wanted to see. It was a breathtaking experience from start to finish. We visited Klima, Tripiti, Pikri Nero, Kalamos and Never bay. Stamatis communication from the beginning of my enquiry to the end of the boat tour was amazing. He has been extremely professional and honest at all times. I highly recommend this tour. Passionate about Ios he took us on a discovery of the island that helped us to appreciate its history and future.
The GIANT brand e-bikes are first rate and powerful. Requiring a low amount of energy to move through the hills.
George is a writer and has already written a book with plans on a second one. He is extremely knowledgeable and informative.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Dolcie S10 contributionsWe bumped into a lovely lady called Irene on Kamari beach and explained in great detail about the catamaran boat trip. From this point onwards the customer care was on point, care and attention was second to none. Irene arranged to pick us up from our hotel by taxi to take us to the port/harbour. She took us to the catamaran to be introduced to the captain and explained again what the day was to involve. We went three different places to swim and enjoy the stunning views, one of which was the hot springs. This was a great experience to swim in. We were given many beers and local wine throughout the trip and also included a beautiful lunch (chicken/shrimps/salad etc). On the way back to the harbour we stopped to turn around to watch the most spectacular sunset with another beer/wine with background music. Me and the wife are so looking forward to going back next year to do it all again. Hopefully we will be lucky enough to see some dolphins this time. Once back to the harbour Irene greeted us and made sure our day went well also took us to our waiting taxi for the return drop off back to our hotel. Irene has so much love for her job and her customers, what a beautiful lady. Highly recommend to all
