- dese2Auburn, NY3 632 contributionsI was very impressed with this museum. There is an entry fee. They have audio tour devices in many languages. They operate by holding near a QR code on each artwork. You then hear a description of what is being presented.
In addition, to the Van Gogh items there are some other artists works also.
Many interactive displays and much information in a small space.
There is a snack area and restrooms. There is a gift shop. It is housed on multiple floors. I think there is an elevator but not sure it is for guests.Written 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We loved it there..Written 19 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marco V1 contributionFantastic experience! The lady owner of the house took us to this 19th century villa still in excellent condition and perfectly preserved. Every object or corner of the house recalls the elegance of the time with references to the life of Margot and Vincent who still seem to live in their home today. The colors of the garden where Vincent painted the natural views are amazing for beautiful photos. Kindness, courtesy and elegance throughout the visit that I recommend to everyone.Written 11 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - maree sChristchurch, New Zealand1 contributionAn amazing sculpture garden with very welcoming and friendly staff. There is a great variety of sculptures to see and a nice place to go on a sunny day. I would recommend a visit to see the art work, it also includes many paintings.Written 29 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jordanellie41Longridge, UK1 216 contributionsThis is the famous little chapel that features in some of Van Gogh's paintings where his father used to be a preacher. The bells still chime on the hour as they did while I was there. Unfortunately it wasn't open while I visited and I'm not sure if it ever is.Written 1 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jordanellie41Longridge, UK1 216 contributionsAnother piece of Van Gogh nostalga is the windmill that famously features in a few of his paintings on the edge of Nuenen. It is a 10 minute walk out of the town centre but is not open to the public as it is on private land. However, there is a small car park to the side where you can stand and get great photos up close or take them from the roadside.Written 1 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - n_wiedenhofNuenen, The Netherlands718 contributionsyeah, the village is proud of Van Gogh, sure, but the statue is nothing special. Nuene has more statues, but bnone of them is wow. That is really a pity.Written 14 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
