What travellers are saying
- KateandfemiWhitley Bay, UK66 contributionsThe Treehouse continues to be a great place for little people. The staff are friendly and it is always clean and tidy. There is a small cafe where you can buy food and drink. Parties are well catered for.Written 16 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - danniannieStockton-on-Tees, UK71 contributionsBrought a group of 19 to the rooms and we were accommodated really well. We booked out all rooms and everyone had great fun!Written 18 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Caellt15Durham, UK121 contributionsWe recently visited here for the first time with our young child. We used the pool. Found the changing rooms clean, large and perfectly fitted for our needs. We didn't get much direction from reception however on which way to go, this was as i say our first time to the centre. The pool itself had a fun baby/toddler area with a pirate ship complete with slides, water features and other activities. The main pool had a wave machine which was great fun. This leisure centre fills a gap in the market for real "fun" and family friendly swimming pools because it is difficult to find pools that aren't just a rectangle with lanes these days. The big slides weren't on but as it was a midday morning this was to be expected. Good experience overall, will return but maybe infrequently as the price fee is a little steep when you compare to some other places.Written 9 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lynda&StuNewcastle upon Tyne, UK181 contributionsThis is a fabulous community resource. The tickets and refreshments are very reasonably priced, the volunteer staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful and the seating is spacious and comfortable. We can't recommend this little gem highly enough.Written 8 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Samuel L1 contributionBy far the best game/hobby shop I've been to in a long time. Nice and clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff, prices are very good and there's plenty of resources available, like rule books, game boards, markers, dice etc.
I mostly play kill team, but the shop have a whatsapp group chat for almost any game available.
Definitely coming back more in future.
Oh also the coffee is good too.Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A great addition to the town and this was a big deal when I was a teenager and we got this built.Written 30 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sindims38 contributionsi used to ply ice hockey so i was excited to get back on the ice after years of not skating. I was a bit downhearted when i actually got on the ice. the ice rink could do with the ice being done properly . It's full of bumps, chips and is terrible to skate on because it's so dry, felt like you were skating on plastic. I left my own skates there to be sharpened and they didn't sharpen them enough, my skates were sliding out, £7 wasted.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 421brooksyLuton, UK7 contributionsPitch and putt style course. Longest holes around 90 yards. Similar style holes but a good course and not too expensive.Written 3 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
