What travellers are saying
- StepMichCarlisle, UK131 contributionsWe love this place and always visit when on holiday in Great Yarmouth. This year we took advantage of the yearly pass that we got last year so really it was a free visit. We love the tram, trolley and bus rides and the train ride is a must, especially for our dog who heads straight there as soon as we arrive. The little cafe is well stocked and quite reasonable priced as is the gift shop. A good way to spend 2/3 hours, we will be back next year.Written 31 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NannanorfolkNorfolk, UK228 contributionsBrought annual pass for daughter and son in law for Christmas it’s a big hit they hav been5 times already. We went yesterday had a lovely day despite the rain. It has improved since my last visit few years back when I felt animals were to far away to see well. Girls adore garaffis and meercats. We did the last jeep ride of day and had it to ourselfs. The ladies were so knowledgeable and able to answer our questions on breeding and animal movement. Thinking of changing our membership to here from another local zoo.Written 23 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - denisebondgirlLowestoft, UK99 contributionsFantastic place for nature lovers with amazing views and wheelchair friendly country walks. Wildlife in abundance and a lovely little restaurant too. A really massive play area that boys of all ages (and girls) will love and plenty of space for picnics. Some nice things in the shop too.

Having said that, the main screen is a decent size, the seating is comfortable, the aisles wide and it is seldom packed. The kids clubs are a great deal and the staff/management really make an effort to accommodate requests and sort out problems. The cinema food isn't great, but when is it ever great? I miss seeing the popcorn being popped and smelling the hot butter like they used to do back in the day, but I never go to the cinema to eat, so have not really sampled much from here. There are certainly bigger, more modern cinemas if that's important to you, but I love the family run feel of this one and have never had a bad experience.Written 19 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AmandaStowmarket, UK6 contributionsWe love going to this lovely theatre. We went for the first time in September 2023, so far we have seen Islands in the stream, ABBA gold and the 60s experience. We have 4 shows booked in feb/march. There is a friendly atmosphere, the refreshments are reasonably priced and we have been thoroughly entertained with the acts.Written 27 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert C10 contributionsThe tyre swing was fun. The walk through the woods was great and there's some nice carvings along the way. The paths are well maintained and the walk comes back around in a loop with some branching parts to explore.Written 20 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EnglandCheshuntAngieEngland Cheshunt63 contributionsWe had a lovely day trip to South Beach , parked in the Claremont car park near the pier, £4.00 all day absolute bargain. I was pleased to see a boardwalk on the beach, such a good idea making it accessible to people that use wheelchairs , mobility scooters and pushchairs , if only more beaches had this facility. You had all you need ,ice cream , hot and cold drinks, fish and chip shop, public toilets with disabled facilities.Written 9 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
