Roche Abbey

Set in a picturesque valley, it's off the beaten track, a few miles from Rotherham and you do have to negotiate a cobbled road down to the car park, but it's worthwhile for the views.
The abbey site itself is very compact and with the running water sound cascading all around it's very peaceful to sit and relax.
