- Colin WEdinburgh, UK47 contributionsPassed by and dropped in for a beer . Great welcome and shown a table . I enjoyed a couple of beers and took in the atmosphere - moderately busy on a Saturday afternoon - a similar experience to the Munich Augsustiners - great beer and good service from the staff - I like these Augustiner Beer HousesWritten 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jillians1810Perth, Australia1 contributionMy 2 daughters, 2 granddaughters ( 7 & 5 ) and myself had a wonderful afternoon preparing and cooking apple strudel and vanilla kipfel. We had great fun preparing the strudel pastry.
The lunch of goulash followed by our own homemade strudel and kipfel was delicious.
Johann explained all of the steps clearly and included the children in every step.
The venue in itself was an experience being a shopfront opening into a cave.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of people standing around eating hearty food and drinking ice cold local beer. We tried a lot of foods there. Various types of dumping, a coloured cooked Easter hens egg, Frankfurter, kasekrainer etc. Well worth a visit.Written 26 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian DDenver, CO2 393 contributionsFun brewery tour in Austria. Not much into brewery tours, but this one was well-paced, informative, and just fun. Joanna guided the tour and she has been doing this for quite some time - long enough to have her picture on the outside of the building! The entire brewery process was explained in detail, but was never boring or redundant. The staff was "live" and working in real-functioning brewery, so we weren't just given a tour of a tour-only area at the brewery. Lunch was served with some great sausages and sides. Well worth the time to visit and take a break from traveling on the highway.Written 27 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
