- JMGenevaGeneva, Switzerland1 973 contributionsA quite interesting zoo showing the fauna of the alps, large and small. Some rarely seen species. Well done and very pedagogic. Some interesting breeding programs too.Written 11 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Frau N12 contributionsWe used our Salzburg card, took a bus out to the zoo on a very cold day in December. We felt like we had the place to ourselves at times, we saw so many animals, had a great snack in the café again only a few customers. We liked the porcupinesmost of all, but saw wildcats And many other animals. Would really recommend for families visiting the area.Written 21 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Doriana GZagreb, Croatia6 contributionsA lovely place to visit with kids, the entire presentation lasts around 45 minutes, so it's nit too long. There is a small fast food nearby and a nice playground in the shade. A+++Written 30 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChilifloBerlin, Germany22 contributionsPerfectly located in the mountains, a bit out of Kitzbühel. Walking paths well in shape but still quite steep and therefore a bit more exhausting, but worth every step on ewill take. it is a great expoereience beeing so close to various aninmlas, e.g. red deers, wild cats and donkeys, just to name a few.
Overall great experience for adults with or witout family. Everyone will like it, and definetely worth a visit.Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our dog was welcome too.Written 18 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Doriana GZagreb, Croatia6 contributionsLittle ZOO, good for kids who like reptiles, otherwise, not worth the price.
Make sure to check out the feedings. We've seen crocodile, turtles, and chameleon feedings, and it was greatWritten 28 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There was a variety of animals and they were all easy to see. The museum area also has a good variety but of course they are not real animals. If you have the Kartnen card the you can get in free and it is definitely worth stopping by.Written 19 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ramon416 contributionsThe place is set in a nice surrounding and the nsture and views you get to see while walking around are quite nice.
Nevertheless for us personally some animals weren't very interesting, others you barely see (because they aren't kept in cages which also is nice). Some animals have quite small areas to themselves, especially the linx, even though there would be plenty of space to extend the cage.
Bottomline is that I have been in animal parks in Austria for a similar price that were way nicer. I wasn't impressed though.Written 18 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 32DioZlin, Czech Republic73 contributionsDorf der Tiere is a perfect spot for smaller kids to enjoy feeding animals (goats, ponnies, alpakas, sheeps and more) and the playgroud they have there (sand, kidt tractors, kind of go carts). You can spend there a lof of time with your kids, if the weather allows you. They also offer some finger food and drinks to buy.Written 13 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
