- Michele HHelsinki, Finland73 contributionsIf you sre looking for something traditional and local, look no further. Take a bath or stay a moment & steamroom, zip a beer and blend in with locals. Really nice place, and not trying to please anyone. If you are looking for best places to eat later, maybe ask the fellows here instead of Tripadvisor ;-)Written 1 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anna A2 contributionsIt was a great experience indeed, both floating and recovery boots. Me and my Mom are very exited after our visit to Recovery Pause Studio. Very kind and helpful workers from the very beginning to the end. We were expecting very salted water, but it was bitter instead. Epsom salt was amazing to float on the surface with. The temperature in the cabin was like body's - neither warm, nor cold, but we coould feel warth from inside the swimming cabin that warmed all body. Was lovely with stars on and quiet music around.
I was always dreaming to float on the dead sea in Israel, - Recovery Pause Studion made my dream come true:-)
Recovery boots i placed on 9 (out of 10 squeezing), it was fine, not too strong preassure with air. Was just thinking about those who have weight on legs, how does it work? As I am 165 cm, 59 kg my legs are quiet thin and i experienced some big squeezing with air. Was feeling very nice after both procedures, both me and my Mom.Written 7 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The place is amazing with very nice points of view, different water pools incl one salty, hammam and sauna and very good places to rest or eat a light lunch (as vegetarian, i was anyway not impressed by the sandwich). My friends got 1,5 hour massage and were very happy of that.Written 23 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Karoline VolaHolstebro, Denmark101 contributionsAbsolutely love this place! Fair price, smiling staff and always sparkly clean. I visit often, and love to bring friends for a relaxing day. If they expand with a restaurant inside the spa-facilities i will never leave ;-)Written 26 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tom Steen JensenRebild, Denmark29 contributionsA small and very cosy wellness center - just as it's supposed to be. With panoramic view of the harbour - nice in all weather.
Not too much, not too small - in fact very Danish. Absolutely worth a visit and a few relaxing hours.Written 15 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were personally handed soft towels, robes and slippers before a tour round the spa. The facilities are super clean, luxurios and romantic. We ordred a lunch, were the quality was way higher than what you pay for. Definitly worth a visit, and great value for your money.
This place sould set the standard for customer service. Spoken from one with a lot of experience in costumer service.Written 2 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Always spotless clean and very customer friendly environment. I come to use the 50m pool and on occasions I attend cycling classes. I have also visited the wellness center upstairs. I have to say that to date this is by far the best water center I have been to. They run a super nice clean policy where everyone seem to follow shower rules before plunging. The chlorine levels are kept minimum (no smell) and there are plenty nice staff always in good mood. The pool is open for public everyday and only parts of it close for school swims. It’s a bliss. The wellness center has great saunas and the staff perform fantastic shows in ‘sauna-gus’ it’s been a while since I was there but I’m definitely coming back!Written 24 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Praxibetel_IxFredensborg, Denmark81 contributionsIt's fairly recently renovated, or so it seems. And it is nice and clean, but, and then the but; it is small, very small. Due to that fact you have to book in advance to get access to "grossererbadet" which is the wellness area.
That area consists of two steambaths, one sauna and two rather large whirlpools.
You only get 1 1/2 hour in the Wellness area for app 11 Euro.
And then there is the danish sauna culture, or rather, the lack of such.
Swimwear is mandatory, which to me is unhygienic. And people don't was after the sauna, and they are loud and wander in and out.
So the zen feeling I hoped for wasn't there.
And by the way, if you wear glasses, there is no where to put them when you enter the sauna or steambaths, pretty annoyingWritten 23 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - K K43 contributionsVery clean and a nice atmosphere. The staff is smiling, humble and service minded. Different treatments such as facials, garra rufa fish spa, massage and teenage treatments for stressed skin.
Usually they ask if you would like a wellness massage or a more profound.
Everybody seems nice and sweet. I personally recommend a nice woman P.Written 26 November 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Ştefania NWarsaw, Poland10 contributionsHaraldslund vand- og kulturhus is the best place to be on a lazy Sunday when you feel like going out but you don't really have the energy to wander around the streets of the city. The indoor area has the regular facilities you would expect from such a place: gym, cafe, a small library, the swimming pool area with separate showers for men and women, locker rooms, a massage zone, and two saunas (again separate for men and women). Nothing special so far. But here comes the outdoor area which has everything that you need for a complete relaxation experience. There's a small hot tub, a few sunbeds, a shower, a fairly big sauna for both men and women and of course the swimming pool which again has different kinds of relaxation features. They created in a very smart way different sections inside the pool where you can either sit on something resembling a bench, lay onto a bed-like surface or lean against a "wall" and enjoy being massaged by the incoming water. Not to mention that the water is so warm that you don't even feel it's only 10°C outside. It's definitely worth trying!Written 24 May 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
