We, parents, grandparents, and our 9 year old grandson, had a lovely visit to Klio’s Honey Farm. She talked about how honey was made by bees, and how she got the honey from them.

Grandson is scared of bees, and also doesn’t like honey, but thanks to Klio, he tried her honey and had several tastes after that. We all bought some to take home, as well as her beeswax lotion.

We are on a tour, just our group of five, and we’re all glad our tour took us there.

um and archeological site are amazing. The ruins are not as well preserved as other Greek sites but still work the visit. Expensive to get in though. 12 euros for adults. What a brilliant little museum. Set up by a philanthropist and costing nothing to enter (there is a donation box) this is a little gem. It covers many of the extraordinary inventions he created and explains them in English as well as Greek. The models are fabulous and there are interactive sections for kids. Really great!

It is incredible that this beautifully carved statue has survived the centuries and we can gaze on it today. It was carved during the Classical period of Greek sculpture in the 4th century B.C. Hermes is holding the baby Dionysus and it is a work of true beauty.

10/10- you must visit. As written by a 9 and 11 year old: it was great because it was interactive and the lady that worked there took time to show us the exhibits and explain how the machines were built and how they worked. I loved the way that you could see the insides of the machines and how they worked, also that you can try these amazing inventions yourself. It helped me realise how things are made and how they work.
By mum and dad: the boys were thoroughly captivated. Especially by the pulley system activity where they had to land the boats. We loved it too. There was time to play games watch each of the systems working on a tv display and many interactive stations that were incredible. We were there just over an hour. It was fantastic. So glad we stopped by. You must go.

We were staying overnight and wanted to see some local wineries after a visit to the Olympic sites in the area. This was by far the best winery we stopped in, which is a small family winery, rich in history. Sometimes it's not the big places that are most impressive, but the local wineries in different areas. I'm not a wine drinker, my wife is, but I really enjoyed the sampling of wines at this location. This is a must do stop.

I enjoyed watching the Olympic every 2 years. It was great to learn the history and origins of the Olympic games, the sports that were added and removed because of the world Wars over time. It should take about an hour to two hoursfor the visit.

As an archaeology student currently travelling in the Peloponnese, I was so excited to be able to learn and experience the art of marble carving in Ancient Olympia. Alexandros was so helpful in teaching me about the process and its history, whilst also allowing me to experiment with the carving tools.

The workshop itself was a fascinating place, as I could see the projects that Alexandros was currently working on and view finished pieces in the shop/gallery!

As someone that does not speak Greek (much to my dismay!), I was quite worried about a language barrier before arriving, but once again Alexandros was amazing and was fluent in English!

I would 100% encourage everyone to go to Smili workshop, it was an amazing experience and definitely a highlight of my trip! I can't wait to return again soon!

We struggled to find this site and had to stop and ask directions several times, thank goodness we had Greek speakers with us. The river and falls were beautiful and we were the only ones there for most of the time.

The monument of Baron Pierre de Coubertin should be in the middle of the modern Olympia town. Everybody should pay his respects to the Baron that spent all his money in his idea.
