What travellers are saying
- Raffaela79Cardross, UK181 contributionsVery scenic definitely a must, it was still quite hot for the kids in October, really enjoyed walking around all the little shops. We enjoyed going on a roof top restaurant and having lunch. The views were amazing.Written 15 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JimmyMAC16Stoney Stanton, UK20 contributionsGreat Views you can pre book your tickets on line and skip the long long ques, the usual Greek health safety applies so just be vigilant if you have got kidsWritten 16 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jimmy DemBelarus191 contributionsThe beach itself is located in a bay to which a narrow road leads. It is advisable to come here in the first half of the day. It is better to park in advance and walk. The parking lot itself is often occupied. There is another beach nearby, it is more free and it is better to swim there, deeper. There is a bridge for diving into the water. Sun loungers and umbrellas are paid. There are cafes, bars, both on the beach and in the area. The beach is very crowded, there are many stones in the water. It is best to relax there on a yacht or a catamaran.Written 25 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Theresa EGreat Torrington, UK3 contributionsWe were lucky in that it was the end of the season and so park was quiet. No queueing and plenty of sun loungers. You could sre that it was designed and set up for massive queues in the height of the season.
Generally clean throughout although there was one area that did need attention it was around the lower area of the yellow and white striped tube ride.Written 27 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nothing can describe what it feels like to walk into this walled city. I loved everthging about it from the frinedly people, to the castle, to the shopping, food, the square, I could go on and on. A must do when in Rhodes!Written 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tabitha EdwardsGodalming, UK4 contributionsWe visited in October and the beach was quiet and the water was beautifully clear and warm. A handful of really lovely bars and cafes and massage available on the beach. There were a number of water sports and activities available. Also a small mini market. - D and JNorth West England, UK195 contributionsThis place, like the museum, is a great insight into the Knights of Rhodes, which I was unaware of prior to our trip. I found the site to be full of information and worth a trip if you happen to be a history buff.Written 11 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Megan KLondon, UK122 contributionsBeautiful place. Very scenic. Quite difficult to get to without using a taxi. We had a nice time and got some cute pictures. But we only stayed for about 30 minutes as there wasn’t much to do or see.Written 2 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rachael LSutton in Ashfield, UK6 contributionsWe come every year it feels like a home from home, great people, food drink and weather, we usually do 3 days old town Rhodes and 1 week Lindos for one of our holidays per yearWritten 30 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trev123Liverpool, UK81 contributionsLindos is a favourite and I have visited many times with my wife and friends. I last wrote a review in of the bay in 2021 only giving it 2 stars as it was being spoilt by overpriced sun beds and cabanas.
We visited the bay this year to see if it was the same. Very happily it had improved immeasurably! All the dreadful cabanas had gone (hopefully for good). Visitors were able to sunbathe on the beach at no extra cost.
The taverna had been beautifully upgraded and really makes the most of the wonderful setting. Food and services were also excellent, although more expensive than elsewhere. However, the extra cost is worthwhile.
So glad the bay is back as it used to be, but only better…Written 5 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - mephoto1971Wesham, UK78 contributionsThis place was the highlight of our holiday. A little out of the way, but we'll worth the visit.
Feeding all thr animals made for some wonderful memories, and our 18 month old daughter still thinks she can feed every camel, donkey, goat or pig she sees.
One little tip though for small children - underfoot the going is tricky. So whilst it is possible to get round with a buggy (we did) it'd be easier with a carrier.Written 10 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
