- Gazza87Santa Cruz de la Palma, Spain352 contributionsWonderful feeling walking across this bridge.
Views are amazing.
Great vibe
Makes for an exciting excellent experience.
The metro train crosses the bridge full of pedestrians yet it’s safe as there’s enough room for both.
A great piece of engineering.
Bold beautiful and looks amazing day or night as it’s so well illuminated
A great addition to the Porto experienceWritten 15 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Worth it to just have a wine at any one of the restaurants along the quay to enjoy the scenery and hustle and bustle on a fine sunny day.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John SOttawa, Canada254 contributionsThere are a lot of similarities and was a page taken for the Harry Potter series? Not sure but it is a beautiful train station. Tastefully decorated and designed.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

You can read all the history as wellWritten 6 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jin Rong Ow30 contributionsAs the centre of Porto's historical development, it's a good place to visit for only a 3 euro entry fee. Takes about an hour or less to finish walking the ground and tower, which has splendid view of the city. Could do with more information and signages though.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tony McMahonLondon, UK393 contributionsEvery time I come to Porto, I have to visit this church. A medieval survivor. Total must for history fans. Normally, I head downstairs first to look at the creepy crypt which is full of carved skulls and there is an ossuary. Upstairs is the opulent headquarters of the secretive Order of Saint Francis. Then in the main church, you have a very gory altar to the martyred Franciscans who tried to convert Morocco to Christianity. Annoyingly, you're not allowed to take still images. That rule needs to go - everybody is breaking it.Written 28 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John SOttawa, Canada254 contributionsThe building was recently refurbished. Many traditional fruit, vegetable, and other goods market on the main floor. Restaurants on the the third floor. If you need some food items, then definitely worth a visit.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - coh8Glasgow, UK946 contributionsWhile defeat in the 2003 UEFA Cup final hurt badly (Deco and Derlei would have rivalled Greg Louganis on the Olympic stage), this was the highlight for my 8YO son and I during our 5 days in Porto. It was 4 or 5 stops from Trinidade (400m from our apartment), and near a good shopping mall and food court too.
30 euro allowed us to visit the stadium and the museum. While 45-minute tour was standard fare, it showcased a compact bowl with great views throughout. As a Celtic fan, the best moment there was lifting the European Cup on the touchline with my son. This was made even sweeter because of the grumpy look from a former Rangers player because Conor was wearing his Celtic away shirt (unless mistaken, one of the worst Crystal Palace managers of all time). Maybe AVB (Club President) will invite into his box for real next time - make mine a cold beer.
After a quick break, we spent the next 90 minutes in the museum, where we got to know the history of the club and its evolution into a European powerhouse. Video highlights of all key European and Intercontinental matches (including Rabah Madjer's backheel against Bayern in 1987), the fan experience and the opportunity for photos with statues of the best XI and former managers (Madjer, Futre, Branco and Bobby Robson were my favourites) made this a truly memorable experience.
While the team and guides were very friendly, and spoke great English, the New Balance replica kits in the club shop were over-priced for T-shirts without embroidered badges (which would be standard practice in the UK). Although I did not mind 15 euro for the European Cup image, the other merchandise (bobble hats, fridge magnets, programmes and boot bag) were reasonable value for money.
In my experience, Porto, Benfica and Atletico Madrid are all very welcoming places for genuine football fans. Good luck for season 2024/2025.Written 19 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our walking tour passed by on Thursday but we felt we needed to make the journey back to see inside. Only €5 entrance. Step back in time and be enthralled with everything you see!Written 17 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I bought my ticket ahead of time which allowed me to choose a time slot. Yes, I've read some of the reviews - comments and while they are true in the sense that there are many people, the fact that the visit is divided up into time slots allowed me to visit the bookshop yes, with several people inside but certainly NOT an exaggerated amount. I comfortably not only visited, took pictures (several I might add) and still took my sweet time to choose some books. The price is not by all means exaggerated or overpriced. And no one is obligated to make a purchase. I paid the 8€ and was promptly discounted by the cashier. I also was greeted politely and one of the staff members kindly helped with some questions. So, I would recommend a visit.Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Davide GPalermo, Italy3 680 contributionsCentral shopping street. Just impossible to be missed. Good both for shopping and for a cafè, it's closed to traffic so only pedestrians are welcome for almost all of the way. Not all of the shops are interesting, still it worths a visit. Some artistic attraction on the way too.Written 26 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Sunny DrAlexandria, VA1 360 contributionsThis landmark offers a unique architectural concept and stands out as a piece of art but it does not seem to be that well kept as some of the outside structures are dirty and mildestWritten 7 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
